Should I use electric heating for private houses?

Since the old version of a boiler house operating on wood and coal does not suit everyone, especially in the context of the modern attitude towards the environment, many choose gas or electric energy as a source of fuel. It is worth considering the electric heating boilers for private houses to determine if this is a good alternative to the traditional option.

There are several options for using electric energy in heating systems: direct application, when direct heating of heating devices is carried out, as well as indirect, when it comes to additional equipment that heats the heating medium.

The second option assumes that the system uses electric heating boilers for private houses. Such units have rather simple design features. As a basis in them is a heat exchanger, which is made in the form of a tank, inside of which there are the fans connected to the electric network. With their help, water or another coolant in the tank is heated, then circulates through the building's pipeline, filling the convectors and radiators. The valve is necessary for those cases when an excess pressure is created in the system to reset it. This principle of the device is completely analogous to that used in gas or oil-fired plants.

The heating of a private house with an electric boiler, which is rather contradictory, is distinguished by such dignity as environmental safety. When they are in operation, neither smoke nor soot is generated, that is, you have the opportunity to breathe easily, even in the immediate vicinity of the appliance, which works at full power. Another positive aspect is silent operation, which makes it possible to place equipment near a dwelling.

If the electric heating boilers for private houses are equipped with a control unit, the equipment will be able to operate automatically. The use of such heating allows you to abandon the need to equip the chimney, pulling the pipeline from the main, or the fuel pipe from the tank. Simplicity of maintenance and operation of the device is another important advantage, which allows to significantly save on the service.

However, an electric boiler for heating, whose price is 4,650-10,700 rubles, has one drawback - a large consumption of electricity. It does not save a high efficiency, equal to 99%. It is this reason that makes it impossible to use such devices everywhere.

The devices are equipped with an automated control system, through which you can very accurately adjust the desired temperature. In manual mode, stepwise power control is assumed using an external indication. Such equipment will cost much less.
