Modern justice for the most part tends to humanity, and even criminals who commit serious offenses have the opportunity to rely on acceptable living conditions in places of deprivation of liberty. No less resonance in the society was caused by information that recently the DPRK was executed by the Minister of Defense. In China, officials of such a high rank have not yet been subjected to such punishments. According to information received in the media, such a decision was taken directly under the decree of Kim Jong-un, the current leader of the DPRK. An official article attributed to a high official is treason to the Motherland, but the popular rumor attributed to him the failure to comply with the orders of the leadership and the expression of sheer disrespect for him. Official confirmation of the event did not follow, which is why it is still not known exactly whether the DPRK was shot by the Minister of Defense. In China, this information does not confirm and do not have information about the situation on the territory of the nearest neighbor.

The wind of change

Recently, in the mass media, it is increasingly possible to find information that executions in China and in general the imposition of death sentences will be suspended for two whole years. Such a decision was taken by the Supreme People's Court, however, the authorities left a small loophole: executions will be carried out if their immediate conduct is urgently needed. Of course, the urgency criteria are not defined and are very blurred. Despite all the controversy and ineffectiveness of the decision, this step still contributes to the humanization of local laws. This is also indicated by the reduction in the number of articles providing for the deprivation of the criminal life.
