Roof boilers - description, application

Roof boiler rooms are an effective solution to the problem of centralized heat supply for industrial and civil facilities. They are placed on the roofs of buildings or on a foundation that is prepared specifically for them. Buildings that are built or reconstructed can be equipped with such boiler rooms in the absence of district heating.

For today in our country roof boiler-houses - the widespread phenomenon. It happens that in the buildings of large cities, especially those that are being built in, there is no way to connect to the central heat supply networks. In addition, because of the nearby buildings and the high cost of land, it is not possible to build boiler houses on the ground.

In order to start designing and building such boiler houses, it is necessary to have a document with a permit for installation, maintenance and operation from specialized organizations (municipality).

According to the principle of construction, roof boiler houses are of two types: block-modular and stationary. Stationary boiler houses are built on buildings from factory reinforced concrete structures, as well as easily assembled constructions such as "sandwich". More profitable is the simultaneous construction of the base of the building and the boiler room. The installation of block-modular boiler-houses looks like this: prefabricated modular assembly units are delivered to the site. Then a specially prepared installation team conducts the docking, installation and connection to the communication networks.

Roof boilers are specially placed systems that are designed for supply and distribution of heat, their power reaches up to 300 kW. The power must correspond to the necessary amount of heat, trying to make it maximum is impractical. Sometimes it is allowed to supply heat to several buildings, but only if certain conditions are met.

Household boiler houses, as a rule, are used in dachas or cottages. For heating, separate buildings are built or the boiler room is placed in the basement (with mandatory access to the street).

Still there are roof gas boiler houses, in which a gas boiler with gas is installed. The capacity of such a boiler should be sufficient for heating the entire building, water supply, etc. The main advantage of gas boiler houses is economy and convenience. Autonomously installed systems are not tied to old communications. Today, gas is a relatively inexpensive fuel and its energy, derived from its use, is cheaper than the energy of a centralized heating system. The roof-type boiler house of the gas type is environmentally friendly, since after combustion, the gas releases into the atmosphere a minimum amount of harmful elements.

To ensure that gas boiler rooms last longer and work efficiently, it is necessary to conduct regular (preferably every year) prevention of all equipment. Since over time, the chimney, chambers and burners are polluted by dust and soot, which leads to a deterioration in the performance of the entire system.
