Any painful symptoms have a negative effect on our body. Any person tries as soon as possible to take some medicine, so that the tooth, head or stomach stops worrying him. Only forty percent of people turn to a doctor in such cases. All the others are engaged in self-medication. But, even taking familiar tablets from childhood can cause irreparable harm. An overdose of analgin can lead to death.

Most often, a person himself becomes the culprit of such consequences. Not having studied the instructions thoroughly or taking several tablets at the same time, for a stronger effect, we do not think about the possibility of an analgin overdose. After all, this is the medicine that our mother gave us.

In many foreign countries, the preparation "Analgin" is banned. But we have it widely distributed in the pharmacy network. Its popularity is a result of low prices and the ability to reduce pain syndrome. But, few people know, from taking analgin, side effects of this drug. They are quite serious. Studying the instruction on the use of any medicinal product, first of all it is necessary to pay attention to this section.

Analgin can cause a feeling of nausea and vomiting, pain in the epigastric region, constipation or diarrhea, as well as flatulence. Side effects of this drug include headache, severe dizziness, a feeling of excitement and increased irritability. After taking analgin, you can hear tinnitus, experience visual disturbances, paresthesia, tremors, or fall into depression. People with hypersensitivity to the components of this drug can have a skin rash, and in severe cases - Quincke's edema or anaphylactic shock. Long-term use of tablets can change the composition of the blood, resulting in such diseases as thrombocytopenia, agranulocytosis, leukopenia or anemia.

Depending on the dosage, frequency and duration of administration, rapid or slow poisoning with analgin is possible. Any doctor knows that if the medication does not give the proper effect within three days, then it is necessary not only to replace the tablets, but also the chosen method of treating the patient. But doing self-medication, a person takes not only a strengthened dose, but increases the frequency of use, without paying attention or even reading the instructions. So there is an overdose of analgin.

Its symptoms are very similar to severe side effects. What should you do if you notice any of these symptoms after taking analgin? With a weak character of the phenomena, it is enough to stop drinking the medicine. If there has been a severe analgesic overdose or poisoning - you need to call an ambulance.

Treatment in this case will depend on the severity of the patient. The doctor will certainly do a gastric lavage with clean cool water or a very weak solution of potassium permanganate. For the fastest withdrawal of the decaying drug, laxative preparations will be prescribed, and for its neutralization - activated charcoal or any other absorbent. In particularly severe cases, blood alkalization and symptomatic therapy will be required.

If you do not have good medical skills or are afraid of harm - do not do anything until the doctors arrive. It should be remembered that milk or a large amount of water contributes to the rapid dissolution and absorption of drugs.

If you give any cleaning solution to the victim, you must induce vomiting. But you can not conduct such procedures with a person who has a clouding or loss of consciousness. In this case, it will be necessary to lay the patient on its side, placing it on the floor. This pose will not allow him to choke on the occurrence of vomiting or suffocate if the tongue falls.
