How to lay down a shirt

How to fold a shirt in such a way that it does not crumple? This is a perennial question that worries those wives whose husbands prefer the old kind classic style of clothing. It is also interesting for those women whose men or husbands chose work in offices or official institutions, service in the bodies or in the army.

In addition, it often becomes necessary to shift the shirts into suitcases or take them off the hangers and place them on the shelves. Of course, everyone wants to get this thing in a couple of days and do not waste precious time re-ironing. That's why you need to know how to fold the shirt correctly.

Initially, it should be carefully and gently patted. Let it cool down on the hanger (about half an hour). Then you can fasten either all buttons, or upper and lower and somewhat in the middle. Face down, place the shirt on the ironing board.

One half wrap and approximately at the shoulder line, bend the sleeve with the required size in the folded form. Put the sleeve on its half. If the shirt has double cuffs, then one rotate according to the fold of the sleeve. Also wrap another shelf, making sure that the shoulder folds at a right angle down.

The second sleeve, too, fold. The shirt will look like an elongated rectangle. It is important that the product does not taper downwards. The lower part is bent to the cuffs and folded so that the bottom edge of the collar thing does not touch. Here's how to quickly fold your shirt in just a few minutes.

Now you can safely put it in the closet or chest of drawers with the front side up. But it should be noted that it's better not to put on shirts, but keep them on hangers if possible. But if there is no such possibility or there is such a situation when you need to take your shirt along on the road, then there is another way that teaches you how to lay down your shirt.

Smoothed beforehand, it must be buttoned up to the collar for all buttons. First - fold the sleeves. To do this, flip the shirt back up and fold the sleeves twice in half along their length. Then fold it so on the sides so that the folds are approximately in the middle of the shoulders, and the edges of these bends converge on the side of the back.

And in the end - smooth out gently what happened as a result, and fold in half. If it's necessary, fold it up again. In addition, there is a way to fold the shirt, which allows you to avoid clear lines of folds directly on the sleeves.

After folding the thing (previously, undoubtedly, smoothened) on the sides, with the fold line through the middle of the shoulders, the elongated sleeve along the entire length is turned off so that its upper fold lies parallel to the side seam. Then fold the thing in half the required number of times.

Another way of folding a shirt is to use a magazine. Put it on the top in the middle of a thing that has fallen down and has cooled down after ironing, which should lie on the bed (or any other soft surface) with the buttons down.

The edge of the magazine should rest against the collar. First, fold one half of the shirt so that one part of the magazine is closed. At the same time, find yourself on the other side of the sleeve, fold back. To do this, bend the alternately dangling part of it to and from the center. It turns out a kind of accordion.

Also add the other half. The rest of the shirt is folded over the folded accordion sleeves, so that the bottom edge is at the bottom edge of the collar. Then gently turn the up and down buttons down and remove the magazine.

Any of these ways, how quickly to fold a shirt, will suit both pullovers, jackets, sweaters, windbreakers, jackets, jumpers and some other shoulder clothing that has long sleeves. Shirts or T-shirts with short sleeves are also very easy to fold.

Simply just smoothened thing with buttoned up buttons turned upside down and folded in half, so as not to bend the sleeves, and then the thing folded in half. It should be borne in mind that the collars of shirts are better not to be folded when folding, but to keep them in the turned-out shape without pressing them down.
