Prostheses of solid plastics are not so well fixed, they can rub gums, and metal hooks are sometimes visible when communicating and cling to the patient's living teeth.

And another plus - they are easy to take care of. Changing the diction in some cases, lowering the threshold of sensitivity, since they cover the main receptors of taste, can be attributed to the main drawbacks of removable plate prostheses. But these devices do not have a very high cost, quite affordable for a person with an average income.
