The strength of the structure increases by 35-40%, which corresponds to concrete, belonging to the class B45. After completion of the hardening process, the structure acquires enhanced resistance to frost.

Plasticizer S-3 is perfectly combined with other varieties of additives to concrete. This indicates that it can be used in tandem with many antifreeze additives, as well as substances that accelerate or, on the contrary, slow down the hardening.

The plasticizer C-3 should not be used in an amount that exceeds in the recalculation of dry matter 0.3-0.8% with respect to the weight of the cement closed in the solution. The additive must be injected by first diluting it in water.

If the plasticizer is added in a volume of 0.2-0.7% of the cement content, it is possible to create cast mixtures that are self-compacted and hardly need a vibration process, whereas if the volume of water is reduced, the concrete will gain increased strength and the mobility will remain unchanged . It is permissible to apply both described techniques in part, that is, to make a solution of increased mobility in comparison with the original one and simultaneously to increase the strength characteristics of the mixture, reducing the volume of water used.

The plasticizer for concrete makes it possible to obtain the front surface of a product or structure that is highly smooth, no matter how difficult the form is to be obtained. After hardening, concrete, which was added to the plasticizing component during the mixing, acquires the qualities of increased water resistance, as well as resistance to corrosion in 2-4 times. Stacking of concrete with a plasticizer involves less impressive labor. After pouring, the product or construction will not have to be subjected to a treatment as long as, as is the case with a conventional solution, temperature and water treatment. The term of decking will also be significantly reduced. When using other additives, the plasticizer does not react with them and does not lose its quality characteristics.

Plasticizer for concrete is not harmful to human health, does not emit toxic substances during operation. The Ministry of Health of the Russian Federation allows contact of reinforced concrete structures, in which there is a plasticizer, with drinking water, as for the case of manufacturing reinforced concrete pipes.

Shutting of solution with additive

In order to prepare a concrete solution, which is supposed to include a plasticizer, the latter can be pre-mixed with cement and sand, which is true if it is necessary to obtain a dry sand cement mixture. There is another way of adding plasticizer, it can be filled in powder form in a concrete mixer together with water for mixing. As an alternative solution, a method of preliminary dissolving the powder in water is sometimes used, eventually a solution of 15-30% concentration should be obtained. In this state, the solution can be added to the concrete mixer, however, it is only necessary to do this after the main volume of water has been introduced.

The use of plasticizer C-3 involves the use of a substance in an amount of 250-700 g per 100 kg of cement component, then it will be possible to obtain a dosage within 0,25-0,7% of the volume of cement. If the work will use molding technology, then the concentration should be equal to the limit of 0.5-0.7% of the volume of cement. Pouring this mixture involves filling the formwork or mold. The result is a smooth surface that does not involve finishing.

Cost of plasticizer

The plasticizer S-3, whose price varies in different regions, undoubtedly has its drawbacks, but this does not reduce its positive characteristics. Acquire plasticizer can be an average of 64 rubles per kilogram.

The plasticizer is a liquid that has a dark brown hue. In addition, you can buy and powdered plasticizer, which has a light brown color. The substance is simply dissolved in water. A positive feature in a dry plasticizer is its almost unlimited shelf life. As the only storage condition in this case is the exclusion of liquid entry. The C-3 plasticizer, the instruction for use of which has been described above, should be used according to the rules, otherwise concrete will not achieve the expected qualities of increased strength and resistance to moisture. It is not worth saving and using a plasticizer with overspending, since in neither case will it be possible to get a positive result.
