Well, which of us does not like pies? Especially if they are baked in a village oven, such pies are filled with aroma and amazing taste. Of course, most live in cities where there is no Russian stove. Do not get upset, you can easily bake pies in the oven.

Especially on this occasion I prepared some simple recipes.

Pies in the oven: puff yeast dough

I love pies made of puff yeast dough, so I suggest pies in the oven with puff pastry. In order to prepare the dough, we need 500 grams of flour, a glass of fresh milk, 1 egg, half-cup butter (about 100 grams), salt and sugar. Eggs mixed with salt and sugar, whisk. Add milk and yeast, mix and combine with sifted flour. Knead a steep dough. The resulting dough is divided into two parts and each is rolled into a layer. Then on one of the layers we smear the softened butter, from above we cover with the second layer, we roll out. Then the layer is folded in half, rolled out again, again in half and rolled again. So the dough will turn out to be puff pastry. Next, cut the resulting layer into squares. The dough is ready.

Prepare the filling of meat. We need 400 grams of minced meat (I use a homemade), three large onions, a clove of garlic, salt and spices. Minced meat, spices, chopped onions and garlic mix. To fry the meat is not necessary, so it will lose all flavor and aroma, we will use the filling in its raw form.

Next, on pre-prepared squares from the dough, we lay out the meat stuffing, take the corners and pull to the center, around the edges we tie, we get an appetizing envelope with meat. When everything is ready, bake the cakes in the oven. We lubricate the pies with oil and serve hot.

Pies in the oven: dough without yeast

Not everyone likes to mess around with yeast dough, so my next recipe is a cabbage dough without yeast. For the preparation of dough, we need 300 grams of flour, a glass of low-fat kefir, 1 egg, salt, soda, slaked. Egg and kefir we combine, salt, whisk. Add the flour, quench the soda and knead the dough. That's all, easily and easily prepared dough.

For the filling we need a small fork of cabbage, salt, one onion, vegetable oil. If desired, you can use green onions and carrots. Cut the cabbage finely, chop the onion and fry it all in vegetable oil until half-ready. Do not forget to salt the stuffing. Then take a piece of dough, roll a small circle out of it, put cabbage stuffing in the center, pick up the edges and tear it. Pies in the oven should be baked for no more than 25 minutes. Hot pies greased with butter and served to the table. With cabbage filling you can experiment, I, for example, added sausage and tomatoes, the taste of pies turned out like a closed pizza, my family really liked it, especially my grandfather and husband.

I want to share another recipe for the filling. We need potatoes, chicken fillets, onions, peppers and salt. My potatoes, clean, cut into cubes or rub on a large grater. Chicken fillet pre-boil, grind and fry with onions in butter. We put everything together, the salt and the filling are ready. True, with such stuffing pies are baked for 10 minutes longer, but they are very tasty and soft.

How to bake pies in the oven, many housewives know, in every family there is a favorite recipe for filling and dough. By the way, those recipes of the test, which I indicated, can be used for sweet pies. For example, puff pastry is perfectly combined with a filling of cottage cheese and dried fruits, the taste is very similar to the taste of juicier with cottage cheese, only sweeter. Pies in the oven are especially good if you put a plate with water in the oven, so the pies are juicy and not dry.
