Nissan Cima latest generation: description, specifications and features of the model

Under the name Nissan Cima is known representational sedan, the history of which goes to the end of the distant 80-ies. This car was popular both at home and in the North American market. There she was known as the Infiniti Q45. For the first year of sales, about 64,000 copies were sold. Naturally, after such success, production continued. And the last generation, which I would like to talk about, did not come out so long ago - in 2012.

The dimensions of this car are rather big. The length of the Nissan Cima reaches 5121 mm, in width - 1844 mm. And its height is 1750 mm. The ground clearance is the same as that of most Japanese cars - 15.5 cm.

The model looks elegant. The smooth image of the body is adorned by a sloping bonnet, sparkling chrome radiator grille, expressive "look" of headlights, separate fog optics and smooth body lines.

The interior of the Nissan Cima looks no worse than its exterior appearance. The salon is completely leather, equipped with lighting, replete with inserts that imitate wood and metal. The materials used in the design are of high quality - everything that is inside is really nice to touch. But especially pleasing is the responsible approach of designers who have made the salon not only attractive, but also ergonomic.

There are several modifications of the sedan "Nissan Sima". In the rear-drive model 3.0 AT, for example, under the hood is a 3-liter 280-horsepower gasoline engine, equipped with a turbo. It is controlled by a 5-step "automatic". With this engine, the sedan accelerates to 100 km / h in just 8 seconds. And its maximum is 230 km / h. Consumption of the model, by the way, is small - for 100 "urban" kilometers 15 liters of fuel go, and along the route - 8.8 liters. There is also a rear-wheel drive model with a 4.5-liter engine. Power and maximum speed are the same, but acceleration to "hundreds" takes less time - 7.5 seconds. The consumption is also different - on the highway 10 liters, and around the city about 16 liters.

The most powerful sedan is Nissan Cima 4.5 AT 4WD. This is the all-wheel drive version. With a 4.5-liter petrol engine, thanks to which the car accelerates to "hundreds" in 7.7 seconds. The model is powerful, but not the most economical - there are 17 liters of petrol for 100 "urban" kilometers, and along the route about 11 liters.

It should be noted that there is a hybrid version of Nissan Cima. Its distinctive features are improved suspension, active noise reduction system in the cabin and eco-pedal. In addition, it is possible to note the presence of cruise control, electric door operator, navigation and special sound-absorbing tires. Particularly good in a hybrid audio system from Bose with powerful speakers, in the number of 16 pieces. Also inside there is a TV tuner, radars, cameras, sensors, entertainment multimedia monitors for passengers and an emergency braking system. In general, all the equipment necessary for comfortable trips, is available inside the hybrid Nissan Cima.

The technical characteristics of this model are also good. Under the hood is a 3.5-liter petrol engine, producing 306 "horses". It works together with a 68-horsepower electric motor, which saves fuel. And it is controlled by a 7-speed automatic.

This representative sedan perfectly behaves on the road. In many respects due to the comfortable suspension, optimized for better driving stability and comfortable driving. The model effectively brakes. In many respects due to the presence of electronic distribution of braking forces. In addition, the car is equipped with the Nissan Brake Assist option, which is activated when the pedal is pressed hard, and helps the car to stop in a matter of seconds. The model is equipped with ABS and ESP.

If to conclude, then we can confidently say that the Nissan Cima is not only an attractive and presentable car, but still safe and easily manageable. And this is one of the most important qualities that any machine should differ.
