Drivers of cars from Tesla Motors in North America will soon be able to update the software of the car. Now it will include the autopilot mode. The update does not make the car fully self-managing, but it helps drivers in dangerous situations and eliminates the need to fully control the process in routine traffic moments.

The creation of a self-governing vehicle is one of Tesla's key objectives. Already last year, the cars were equipped with radar, forward camera, ultrasonic sensors on the sides, assessing the space of five meters from the machine, and a high-tech braking system. The brakes are controlled by digital control and provide additional safety. The update uses all the data from the camera and sensors to assess the situation and helps the driver in such actions as driving off the highway or changing the strip.
