Sports motorcycles are designed for speed and maneuverability. These qualities are well expressed in this type of bike. As a rule, such motorcycles are narrow, and many parts are made of very hard plastic that protects well at serious falls. All this is done to facilitate the "iron horse", which, in turn, increases the speed of movement.

Sport Tourist

Motorbike sports tourist is a hybrid of sport and classic. Together, the qualities borrowed from these types of motorcycles give a good result. Motorcycle sports tourist differs from purely sports only in that its motor is less powerful, and the fuel tank is much larger. This combination adapts it to long-distance and unhurried trips along the asphalt. Also, its "bulkiness" stands out: unlike narrow and small sports bikes, the sport tourist motorcycle has clearly larger dimensions, which make it more stable and convenient. A good adaptation to long trips is the developed windshield, which protects the driver from the cold counter-flow of air and annoying midges, which otherwise would have flown in the face.

The motorcycle sports tourist differs from the classical by the more "aggressive" design that he got from the sports "parent". Also, he is gaining more speed than a simple tourist (although not as high as ordinary sleep-bikes). Management of a sports tourist is better than a simple classic motorcycle, which proves his belonging to the sports class. Another distinguishing feature of this class is the presence of plastic parts, of which the body consists. A simple classic motorcycle or a tourist body is mostly made of metal parts, often chrome plated. Here it is not so, on the sports tourist the body is made of strong plastic, which is lighter in weight than the metal, but not inferior to it in strength.

Prices, of course, bite at him. The cost of this "toy" will be from four to eight thousand dollars (depending on the state and place of purchase). That is why before buying it is worth seriously thinking about whether such an expensive motorcycle is needed or not.
