History of creation

The multifunctional complex Minsk-Arena began to be built in the spring of 2006 after the President of Belarus A. Lukashenko signed a decree. Every day, about 2,000 people worked on the site. They embodied the project of the famous architect Valery Kutsko, an employee of the workshop of the institute "Belgosproekt". The official opening of the structure took place four years later, on 30.01.2010. On the ice of the complex, as part of its opening, a match was played for all the stars of the Continental Hockey League.

Now the multifunctional complex "Minsk-Arena" occupies a leading position, being considered the most capacious area and the leading hockey arena of the European continent. A huge impression is made by the architectural solution in the style of hi-tech. Description of the ice structure

Ice Arena

A certain number of tribunes, located in the lower tier of the main building of the complex, have metal steps. They are called blitzers. With the help of pressing a single button stands are able to move under the concrete steps along with the seats. The need for this arises when performing variety and sports shows, as well as concerts. In the free space, a dance floor is arranged and a collapsible stage is installed.

There are commentator booths on the upper tiers, and slightly below are designed balconies for VIP clients for seven hundred seats.
