History of creation

The multifunctional complex Minsk-Arena began to be built in the spring of 2006 after the President of Belarus A. Lukashenko signed a decree. Every day, about 2,000 people worked on the site. They embodied the project of the famous architect Valery Kutsko, an employee of the workshop of the institute "Belgosproekt". The official opening of the structure took place four years later, on 30.01.2010. On the ice of the complex, as part of its opening, a match was played for all the stars of the Continental Hockey League.

Ice Arena

A certain number of tribunes, located in the lower tier of the main building of the complex, have metal steps. They are called blitzers.
