How to get there

A trip to Veliky Ustyug is associated with overcoming considerable distances multiplied by the unimportant quality of local roads. In recent years, work is under way to improve them, but much remains to be done. It is easiest to get here through the regional center. The best option is to transfer to Vologda on a shuttle bus to Veliky Ustyug. He leaves every day, but there are more than eight hours to go on the way. The city has a train station and an airport of local lines, but the car remains the most reliable mode of transport.
