The appearance of the green zone

Park Frunze (Evpatoria) has existed for a whole century. Earlier on the site of the complex was the dacha of Mlinarich, an employee of the shipping industry. The landlord began the construction of his estate in 1914. Around the site, many trees (olives, several species of conifers, etc.) were planted, acacia bushes and a rose garden and flower gardens. In the adjoining square Mlinarich established several Greek statues.

In 1917, the landowner left the Crimea together with the White Guards. For ten years, nobody cared for the estate and the public garden. But in 1926 the greening of the park was continued. Many sculptures by that time had become worthless, part of the vegetation was lost. Therefore, new plants were planted, decorative elements were installed, beautiful benches.

History of the park

Already in the 19th century, the place where the Frunze park (Evpatoria) is located, was very picturesque. This square attracted the attention of Emperor Alexander I. But before the status of the "park" the green zone was still far away. After the Civil War, it was decided to build children's recreation centers on the estate of the landowner. Then a fountain and a pool were installed.

The land around the children's sanatorium was landscaped. There were benches, pavilions and sidewalks. Over time, marble statues were erected and artificial grottoes were built. The sanatorium was preserved in the times of the Great Patriotic War. After the war in the park Frunze were installed attractions.

Later there were youth platforms: roller-skating, skalod- and skeidromes. There was allocated a place for paintball and bowling alley. Then came the amazing "Town of Fairy Tales". As a result, on the estate of the landlord grew a huge recreation complex.

Mineral pump room

The history of the park is inextricably linked with the pump room, in which the mineral water is located. It was fed up from deep underground wells. During the war, the pump room was destroyed, but it was restored in 2004. The depth of the wells is 1250 m. The healing properties of water and its taste are very similar to Borjomi.
