Men's losers: history and options

Everyone knows that the appearance of a man largely forms accessories and shoes. You can look chic in old jeans and fashionable expensive shoes. The reverse combination will give the opposite effect.

During the spring-summer period, representatives of the strong half of humanity, and more often their mothers, friends or wives, increasingly pay attention to male losers. What is this kind of footwear? In essence, it is moccasins on a solid sole with a small wide heel. They are distinguished by a convenient, rather wide style, lack of fasteners or lacing.

Classic male loffers are made in brown tones and have leather tassels. In Russia, this option was not widely used, although ladies' models with this decorative element look very nice. Classics are worn by original gentlemen at an age, while the bulk and young people prefer samples without ornaments or metal inserts on the cape.

The name of the whole lineup comes from the English loafer, which means "loafer". Therefore, male losers were first worn only at home, then they became students' shoes (a kind of "penny") and farmers, then they were rated by American office workers. Here, this kind of footwear became part of the clerk's business suit. However, in Europe it is not recommended to attend serious negotiations in this form. Here there is a strict dress code: shoes should be on laces. Suited shoes suede men's dark tones, combined with a suit.

The world fashion every day more and more enters into everyday life, including the life of men. Therefore, some of them willingly abandon the standard black-brown range in favor of more cheerful tones. Increasingly, on hot days we can see on men red, gray, blue, blue, white moccasins. Men's shoes of this type are well combined with light or gray trousers, jeans, bright shorts, forming a style called kazhual. Note that the last combination allows the absence of sock, and in other cases, this wardrobe item is mandatory. The most famous combination of loffers with socks is the image of Michael Jackson, who chose a black and white combination and was captured in this form in several clips. The King of Pop willingly danced in this shoe, and his followers (and follow) followed him.

If male lofers were available from the thirties of the 20th century, such comfortable shoes for women began to be produced only from the late 60's. In it were noticed Grace Kelly, Audrey Hepburn (the film "Funny face"). Today ladies combine these strict, elegant and at the same time very comfortable models with shorts, jeans, classic trousers, as well as with stockings, straight skirts or skirts in pleats (preppy style). Lophers are produced in a wide variety of modifications, and the main shoe brands have repeatedly updated their collections of half-moccasins-half-suits, which always found their buyer.
