Oleg Yemtsev: biography and creativity

Oleg Yemtsev was born on June 24, 1951. He was born in Melitopol. Oleg dreamed of becoming an artist from childhood. Already at the age of 13, he began to study acting in one of the dramatic teams of his native city.

Education

Oleg Yemtsev settled in Odessa. He began to get education in the variety circus studio. After that, Oleg became a student of the theater and technical school in Odessa. His creative career began in 1969. Odessa Circus became for him the first place of professional activity: there he played together with clowns in reprises.

Mime

Yevtsev Oleg Pavlovich for the first time decided to speak with his own number. Luck smiled at him: he won success, and he was invited to tour. His talent as a mime was highly appreciated by Soviet critics, and the artist traveled the whole country with his own ideas. Then Emtsev was a representative of the regional philharmonic society of Odessa.

Cinema and circus

In 1971, the movie "Long Seeing Off" appeared on the screens. This was the first picture in which Oleg Yemtsev played. He got the role of a mime, and he brilliantly embodied this image on the screen. In 1977, the comedian played in a film called "Timur and his team." However, the film career did not attract the artist very much, so he decided to devote himself completely to the circus. So Oleg Yemtsev began his creative activity.

"Show Masks" is a well-known project in which the artist has been involved since 1992. The next 7 years he worked on this series. During this period, the artist goes to Paris. There he meets Marcel Marsom, who is known all over the world. The artist adopts the experience of the great master. Once our hero interpreted a number of short stories belonging to the French master. Maitre was very pleased with his colleague's amazing game.

In Paris, the artist visited the international school of pantomime. He lived in New York for a year. There, Oleg successfully performed in several shows. Since 2000, the artist simultaneously lived in the territory of two cities - Odessa and Krakow. In Poland he organized his own small theater called "On suitcases". In it, he played in the next 7 years.

In 2007, a break in the field of eight years in the film distribution, new films appeared, in which this creative person starred. We are talking about the paintings "Gentleman Detective Ivan Podushkin 2" and "Liquidation." In the latter he got the role of a card sharper.

Oleg Yemtsev in the last years of his life struggled with a serious illness. He left this world in 2011, on August 3.

Interesting Facts

The artist is buried in the Tairov cemetery in Odessa. The famous mime has green eyes, fair skin and a naturally light brown hair color. Oval face shape, middle forehead, hair thick and straight. The height of the artist is 175 cm. He did not change the color of his hair, he preferred natural. The artist has a rectangular chin and a straight large nose. He is a Cancer by the sign of the zodiac.

Yemtsev was a laureate of an international competition dedicated to small theatrical forms. The event was held in Warsaw, Poland. Also, the artist is a laureate of the Ukrainian humorous festival "Golden Rabbit", which was held in Odessa.
