Marat Gafurov ("Cobra") is one of the few undefeated fighters in the world of mixed martial arts. Currently, his statistics: 15 wins in 15 bouts. Now he is in the organization ONE Championship, he is the champion in the semi-light weight category. Nationality is Kumyk.

Childhood and youth

The future champion was born on November 21, 1985 in the village of Ishkarty in the Buinaksky district, the republic of Dagestan. Since childhood, parents have noticed his outstanding strength. 8 years ago, in the distant 2009, Marat held his first fight in mixed martial arts at a tournament in Sochi. Debut fight in the organization of the M-1, he spent in Malaysia in 2014.
