Mara Jade Skywalker and Luke Skywalker

Mara Jade is a character in the Star Wars universe. After selling the studio to Lucas Disney, she became a mere legend, like their relationship with Luke Skywalker, and to the original canon is no longer relevant. However, her fate was described in books published before 2014.

Servant of the Empire

Mara Jade was born in the 17th year of the DSB (chronology according to the canon of Star Wars). The place of her birth is unknown, because she was discovered by the Emperor Palpatine, when he was looking for and destroying the remaining Jedi. The emperor did not destroy the girl and made his agent.

Her whole youth was trained, until she was able to prove that she was worthy of becoming the Emperor's Hand. Then she was only 14 years old.

Mara got into possession of a spaceship and droid K3. The girl had a strong connection with the force, so Palpatine could telepathically communicate with her constantly and give orders.

The main duties of Mary were to search for the surviving Jedi and to look after Darth Vader's affairs. Jade always hoped that Vader sooner or later betrayed Palpatine. Then the girl will have the opportunity to take his place and become the first disciple of the Sith Lord. However, gradually Mara Jade begins to doubt that she is the only spy-sith in the service of the Emperor.

The first meeting with Luke

Mara receives another order from Palpatine - to find Luke Skywalker. The girl goes to Tatooine and enters the palace of Jabba in the guise of the dancer Arica. However, the protection of the Hutt immediately suspected a malfunction in the behavior of the girl, and when she used force, she was kicked out of the palace. Which meant the failure of the task.

The main purpose of Mary was to take part in the execution on the Dune world of Luke, Han Solo and Leia. It can be said that Luke Skywalker and Mara Jade never met, if not for one "but". After a while, Luke had a vision in which he saw Mara and the outcome of the execution, if the girl took part in it. It was she who "helped" Luke to perish.

A few months after the failure, Mara again performed the task of the Emperor and saw the future in which Luke and Vader kill Palpatine. And the last order of the Emperor was to kill Luke Skywalker.

Wanderings

According to their laws there are "Star Wars". Mara Jade is convinced that Luke Skywalker has solved her life. In her head the girl constantly hears the last order of the teacher. When the Empire fell, Mara wandered for a long time. Financing has ended, and from the usual life in luxury had to be abandoned.

For a long time she survived, taking random orders. One such task brought her with another former spy Palpatine - Lumiya. The rivals came together in battle, and Mara lost her lightsaber.

Contraband and a new meeting with Luke

Then Mara Jade joined the team of smuggler Talon Karrde. Thanks to her abilities, the girl quickly became the best in her team.

After one of the raids in the hands of smugglers was Luke Skywalker. Karrde decided to sell the Jedi messengers of the New Empire, so Mare was forbidden to kill him. But Luke managed to escape, and Jade was sent to catch up with him. However, when both were in the forests of the planet Mirkr, the situation changed. Now the hunter herself had to escape from General Thrawn. To survive, the enemies had to work together. Mara Jade and Luke for a long time successfully hiding until they were rescued by Hanam Solo and Karrde, who took each of their friends. After that, the enemies of the New Empire were also smugglers.

Transition to the Republic side

The smugglers Karrde were captured by the Empire, which forced Mara to turn to Luke for help. Together they saved Jade's friends. As a result, Mara, Karrde and his team were on the side of the New Republic.

In one of the fights, Jade nearly died - Luke saved her. The wounded was taken to Coruscant, where she was treated, but accidentally ended up in jail. The sharpening was short-lived, since Mara knew the location of the control center of the Empire. Skywalker, with the support of his friends, pulled the girl out.

Jade began to work with Luke. The Jedi taught her to know the Force. Mare gradually managed to overcome the desire to kill Skywalker. She realized that this was just revenge of Palpatine.

On the planet of clones, Mara met Lyuyuka - a clone of Skywalker. After killing him, the girl fulfilled the order of the Emperor, getting rid of torment. When the cloning center was destroyed, Luke gave Mare his father's sword. After that, Jade made the final decision to become a Jedi and abandon the dark side.

A few months after that, she found a teacher - a Jedi Kyle Kattarn. Later, Mara headed the Alliance of Smugglers. After that, I experienced many more adventures. Has opened several plots. She confessed to Luke in her sympathy and even saved his life.

Luke Skywalker and Mara Jade: love

Mara began to carry out missions for Oredna, one of which almost died because of the terrible virus released by the Yuuzhan Vong. She was saved only by the Force.

Disease and pregnancy

After a while, the Yuuzhan Vong unleashed a war and invaded the galaxy. Mara Jade Skywalker was the first of the Jedi to face them. It was worth the enormous effort to get out of the battle victorious.

However, long-standing poisoning led to illness. The Jedi grew worse every day. Constant battles only worsened the situation. Chewbacca, a friend of Khan Solo, died in the war. But Mara was unable to participate in the memorial service - the disease did not allow.

Jade was dying, but she was rescued - Han Solo got an antidote. But soon Mara again felt worse. It turned out that she was pregnant. The force helped to understand that she was waiting for the boy.

All the time of pregnancy for the future mother looked after Luke and the whole family Solo. When the baby was born, it was decided to call him Ben after Kenobi.

The war with the Yuuzhan Vong continued. The republic retreated, we even had to sacrifice our capital, Coruscant. The Skywalker family took shelter on Hapes. She did not have time to be a mentor for Jane Solo anymore, now her only son was her.

To win, Luke and Mara found a living moving planet on which they flew to Coruscant. Then the ships of the Republic and the Vong agreed in battle. After a long battle, the Vong were defeated. War is over.

A family

Mara paid all her attention to the family. When Ben grew up, she allowed him to go to the students for Jacen Solo, despite the fact that Luke did not trust his nephew.

After a while, Mara found out that Lumia was alive. She and Luke went to find her. Jed managed to find her first, but in the fight she almost died, having received a poisoned dart.

Gradually, Mara noticed strangeness in the behavior of Ben's mentor. When her son disappeared, she was convinced that Jacen was to blame. Luke and Mara went in search of a teacher and student.

Death

Ben managed to find. He reported that his former mentor and Lyumy were accomplices. Mara Jade Skywalker sought out Jacen and tried to persuade him to the bright side. But he refused. The woman decided that he was dangerous for Ben and decided to kill him.

She overtook him on Hapes, where the battle took place. Mare almost managed to win, but Jacen distracted her with the illusion of her son and let the poison dart go. Dying, Mara promised that Luke would take revenge for her.

Upon learning of the death of his wife, Skywalker decided that it was Lumiya who was to blame for this, and killed her. For the death of Mary, she was avenged by Jane Solo, who had to kill her brother for this.
