In 1860, a boy was born in the Lithuanian city of Kybartai, which later became a unique modernist artist of his kind. It was named Isaac, the name Levitan inherited from his father. At the age of 10, he moved with his family to Moscow, and since then no Russian spirit has left his canvas.
