Lamborghini Veneno - one of the most exclusive cars on the planet

During the last automobile exhibition in the Swiss city of Geneva, one of the most exclusive cars on the planet - Lamborghini Veneno - was demonstrated. According to representatives of the manufacturer, in total, only three copies of this model will be collected. According to the idea of engineers, it is planned to paint the bodies in "gray metallic", which will be combined with one of the colors of the Italian flag - red, white or green. Thus, each of the produced cars will become unique. As for the exhibited option, it will be left to the company. It should be noted that the sample is painted in all three colors of the national tricolor.

The Lamborghini Veneno car was designed on the racing chassis of the world-renowned modification of the Aventador LP 700-4. It should be noted that she also borrowed a suspension with a horizontal spring. The body of the car is nothing more than a carbon-fiber monocoque. The interior decoration of the salon is made of materials, a patent for which only the manufacturer-Forged Composite and CarbonSkin owns.

origin of name

In the company Lamborghini it is customary to call the machines names associated with battle bulls. This model is not an exception. The name Veneno belonged to the fastest and most aggressive bull, which is known in the history of bullfighting in Spain. It became well-known exactly one hundred years ago. Then, in 1914, the bloodthirsty owner of the named name killed a professional bullfighter in one of the Andalusian arenas, whose name was Jose Sanchez Rodriguez.

Characteristics

One of the key advantages of the new Lamborghini Veneno is the technical characteristics. The car is equipped with a power unit consisting of twelve cylinders. The working volume of the installation is 6.5 liters, while the engine power is 750 horsepower. The motor functions in combination with a robotic box for seven steps. It should be noted that there are five possible modes of motion here. The machine is capable of accelerating to "hundreds" from the ground in just 2.8 seconds. As for the maximum possible speed, it is equal to 350 km / h. Among other things, the model boasts excellent aerodynamic characteristics. Thanks to the optimized design of the car body, the car is highly resistant even on fairly steep turns.

Another important characteristic of the new Lamborghini Veneno was the original and unique exterior. Here, even the smallest element has its own functional purpose. All this in a complex not only provides excellent dynamic characteristics, but also is the key to optimum downforce of the car, the least resistance, and the timely cooling of the power plant. The entire front part of the car is a kind of aerodynamic wing, which has separate large channels, which are intended for air direction. At the rear of the model, the designers installed a wing, which is automatically adjusted and does not just optimize the airflows while driving. In addition, it provides high performance on the road. Due to the central keel, the efficiency of the braking system is significantly improved. The rear lights in the Lamborghini Veneno are made in the form of the letter Y typical of cars from this Italian manufacturer. It's no surprise that the model fully meets all of the highest safety requirements.

Cost

Among all those demonstrated at the Geneva car exhibition, Lamborghini Veneno became one of the most expensive. The price of one copy is about 3.9 million US dollars. Despite this, according to unofficial information, all three cars got their owners almost immediately after announcing their exit, so even with that kind of money, it's impossible to acquire a model.
