At the same time they are absolutely impractical: they do not have spacious comfortable seats, there is no trunk, and small pits on the roads reduce all the possibilities of such cars to none. Nevertheless, such cars as Ferrari and Lamborghini, deserved the right to be called classics.

Ironically, the impetus for the formation of "Lambo" was the self-confidence of their worst competitor - Ferrari, or rather Mr. Enzo Ferrari. Feruccio Lamborghini already had several tractors companies, but his soul belonged to sports cars. He found some flaws in Ferrari cars. Feruccio decided that together with Mr. Ferrari he would be able to create the perfect supercar that no one could surpass. But there it was, Enzo Ferrari did not even deign to go out to his guest. Moreover, he, to put it mildly, sent him far away.

This event prompted Lamborghini to create its own factory. The aim was to produce cars that would permanently leave Ferrari behind. To a certain extent, Lamborghini managed to do it. The Countach and Miura models were very popular.

In 1990, the company was taken over by the Chrysler concern. As a result, the presentation of the new sports car Lamborghini Diablo. This car really managed to outshine all models of Ferrari. Even the lord Feruccio Lamborghini managed to enjoy his victory, but, unfortunately, three years later he was gone.

Model Diablo became the heir of the sensational sports car Kauntach. The receiver has become much more elegant and large. Although some experts believe that Diablo lacks the aggressiveness and unrestraint that Cauntach had.

The first sales of supercar began in 1991. The car immediately got into the Guinness Book of Records as the most powerful. The brutal motor with 12 cylinders and a volume of 5.7 liters produced an incredible 492 hp. Thanks to the lightweight body, Lamborghini Diablo famously gained a speed of 100 km / h in 4 seconds, and the maximum was limited to 325 km / h.

Later, the all-wheel drive modification was released. Lamborghini Diablo became even faster, even lighter and more powerful.

The car was produced only 11 years - from 1990 to 2001. During this time managed to become a legend Lamborghini Diablo. Its price is also legendary. For such a sports car it was necessary to give about 250 thousand dollars, and for the most top-end and exclusive complete sets would have to fork out for 500-600 thousand.

Another curious fact. One of Diablo was created for the races "24 hours of Lehman". Victory this car did not bring, but engineers Lamborghini received invaluable experience, which later came in handy for designing the most extreme version of the Lamborghini Diablo GT.
