The directors of the full-length computer animation were Steven E. Gordon and Boyd Kirkland. The cartoon "Snow White, a New Story" was a continuation of the animated film "New Adventures of Cinderella".

Interesting about the cartoon

Almost all children grew up on amazing fairy tales, where in the priority - love of loved ones, responsibility and, of course, kindness. Everyone knows such heroes of cartoons as Snow White, Little Red Riding Hood, Humpty Dumpty, Goldilocks, Evil Stepmother, Seven Dwarfs.

Each of these characters has its own fascinating story. But there is also something that unites them. In any of the stories there are both positive heroes, and negative. Good always fight for truth, freedom, kindness, beauty, and evil builds intrigues, they try to harm both positive heroes and the whole world. Therefore, the struggle between the forces of good and evil is a perpetual and always interesting question.

Even more interesting is the fact that in the animated film "Snow White, a New Story" all the characters were put together, but changed a little. Before the audience, they will not appear as they are used to seeing. But, despite the external and internal metamorphosis, which occurred with images, the new interpretation of the film still appears as a kind and instructive tale for children and adolescents.

The plot of the animated film "Snow White, a New Story"

In one beautiful kingdom lived King Kohl and Queen Grace, they had a wonderful lovely daughter Snow White. The Queen was considered very beautiful, wise and judicious, she tried to instill in her daughter only good manners. But, unfortunately, one day she fell ill and died. Snow White, who grew up without a mother, was not at all the one the queen dreamed of. Now the girl was interested only in entertainment, talking about fashion and meeting with friends - Little Red Riding Hood, Goldilocks and Shepherdess.

It is not known how the fairy tale "Snow White, a new story" would end, if one day the main character did not fall in love with Peter's simple guy. But, seeing the girl's attitude towards commoners, the young man categorically rejected her signs of attention.

At this time the king decided that it was time for him to marry again. He was sure that marriage would benefit both him and his wayward daughter. This chance was decided to take advantage of Lady Vane, who always looked enviously at the queen. Using the help of the goblin of Rumpelstiltshen and the magic mirror, she imposed a charm on herself, which turned her into Queen Grace. Unable to resist the spell, the king decided to take her as his wife. But that's not all that the insidious Lady Wayne was trying to achieve, her plans included getting rid of her stepdaughter. Having created with the help of a mirror the enchanted apple of discord, he was able to achieve that Snow White ate it. As a result, the girl quarreled absolutely with everyone in the kingdom.

After making so many cases, the main character had to leave the house and flee to the forest. There she met seven dwarfs who sheltered her and decided at all costs to help her become good. She realized a lot by helping to build a house for pigs, shortening the grown nose of Pinocchio, collecting the broken Humpty Dumpty.

In the meantime, Snow White was re-educated, in the castle Peter learned about the treacherous plans of Lady Vane. He rushed to find Snow White. Together, young people managed to destroy the spell and free the king and the kingdom from the evil witch.

Opinion about the cartoon

Judging by the reviews, not all spectator hearts cartoon "The New History of Snow White" found a response. Someone believes that the very idea of turning Snow White into a modern vagabond girl is stupid. After all, this heroine is loved precisely for sincere kindness and responsiveness.

But there is another opinion. Many are sure that it is the new interpretation that best conveys the whole atmosphere of the modern worldview of adolescents, and that it is absolutely necessary to watch the animated film "Snow White, a New History".
