Kosmeya: growing out of seeds in the suburban area
Kosmeya - a charming flower, which many gardeners affectionately call "beauty", was brought to Europe from tropical America. There is this plant and another popular name - "unkempt young lady." Thus, the similarity of her small foliage with unruly curls was accurately noted.
Cosmoea, growing from seeds which is preferable, grows well on any soil and does not require additional dressings. Seedlings are also used, but very infrequently. In the first case flowering begins in July, in the second - in June. Best of all, the cosmonaut feels protected from strong winds, sunlit flower beds and beds.
Kosmeya, the cultivation of which in the future is solely in the weeding, does not "love" the waterlogged soil. Therefore, water it is not necessary often. It is quite enough two times a week. In order for the flowering to be abundant, during the budding period it is possible to feed the plants a couple of times with mineral fertilizers. To do this, most often use a universal mixture for flowers.
Outwardly they resemble the claws of an animal and are quite large in size. Cosmee, growing out of seeds which is therefore not too difficult, can multiply and self-sowing. Almost all varieties of this ornamental plant are annuals. The exception is the blood-red cosme. Although it refers to perennials, in a cold climate in winter its roots freeze. Therefore, it is grown at most the same way as an annual.
A frequent guest of household plots, simple in care cosme - one of the most preferred plants used for decorating yards. The only thing to remember is that when planting on flower beds because of the high "growth" it is better to have it in the background.
