Knitted pattern "Spit with shadow": diagram, application, description

Harnesses (arans or braids) have always been extremely popular. This technique is most often associated with the words "knitting with knitting needles", as it allows you to create three-dimensional and various ornaments. There is a huge number of simple and complex arans, they are an interlacing of two or more laces.

Looks good and decorates almost any product with a three-dimensional pattern made with knitting needles, a "scythe". Its scheme is not at all complicated, but such work requires certain skills and concentration.

The principle of forming a braid

Any harness connected by spokes is formed by moving several loops. More precisely, loops are not simply moved, but are interchanged with neighboring elements. For example, a classic tow of two strands is made as follows:

  • The loops of the first locks (П№1) are removed from the left spoke on the auxiliary spoke.
  • Loops of the second strand (П№2) are tied with facial. At the same time, N1 remain before work.
  • P-1 is transferred to the left-hand spoke and is also tied with the facial.

This sequence is clearly shown in the diagram below (M.1B).

Formation of more complex braids

It should be noted that both the first and second strands can contain absolutely any number of loops: from one and more.

Traditionally, braids, tied with facial loops, are placed on a canvas made of purl loops. More complex ornaments assume an interlacing of loops of prjatok with loops of the basis. That is, instead of П№2 there will be purl loops of the base.

Any patterns with a component such as a "braid" will be derived from a classic bundle.

Knitted pattern "braid with shadow": a diagram with a description, the order of execution

The diagram, which is located below, shows the classical braid (left) and its modified version (on the right). In fact, the knitted pattern "Spit with shadow" (Scheme M.1A) - these are two bundles, twisted in different directions and displaced in a vertical direction. Strands of a pattern can consist of any number of loops, the more of them, the larger the canvas will be.

Let us consider in more detail how the pattern of the "braid with the shadow" matches the spokes. The scheme, without a doubt, is important, but the description helps to clarify certain nuances.

The braid consists of four locks (this is the repeat of the ornament): from right to left Pr # 1, Pr # 2, Pr # 3 and Pr # 4. Two of them (Пр№1 and Пр№2) are intertwined with a slope to the right. The remaining (Pr No.3 and Pr No 4) are intertwined with each other with a slant to the left.

To fill the knitted fabric with three-dimensional bundles, it is necessary to tie a pattern of "braid with shadow" several times with knitting needles. The scheme and the order of the weave of the strings remain unchanged, but the distance between the rapports can be varied. If you arrange them very close, the canvas will be very voluminous due to the close proximity of the braids. Usually two to five loops of the base are left between the rapports.

Sequence of stages

First of all, the required number of loops (multiples of one rapport) is taken on the spokes. Then knit all the loops with the front ones (first row). The second row, like all purlins, is done according to the drawing. In the third row begin to perform weave loops - so knits the pattern of "braid with shadow". The diagram with the description will allow to create a flat cloth of any height (for example, scarf or plaid).

Third row: Pr # 1 is transferred to the auxiliary tool and left in front of the working spokes. Pr No.2 is knotted, returned to No. 1 on the left knitting needle and knitted with facial loops. Then all the other loops in the row are knit in the usual order.

There was an interlacing of the first and second strands. The harness is tilted to the right.

The fifth row: the loops of all four braids are knitted with facial loops.

The seventh row: the loops of the first and second strings are sewed with facial loops; Pr№3 is removed onto the auxiliary spoke or pin and left behind the working knitting needles; Pr№4 is knotted, then return No. 3 to the left knitting needle and also tied. Thus, the third and fourth strands were intertwined, the tourniquet left with a slant to the left.

To increase the width of the canvas, you should consistently execute several rapports. After all eight rows have been consistently executed, repeat the pattern from the first row.

Scheme and photo of the "braid with shadow" pattern: the second version of the ornament

The photo below shows a sweater with a large number of different braids. It is interesting that there is a modified "scythe with a shadow," the strings of which are interlaced not in checkerboard order, but in a symmetrical one.

Knowledge of the basic principles and the ability to arrange ornaments helps craftsmen create true masterpieces. Such creative knitting with knitting needles "a braid with a shadow" (the scheme is placed below) is suitable for making children's, women's and men's products.

The considered braid is marked with the designation M.2 and is located at the bottom of the figure. Eight loops on the right and left braids are one of the simplest patterns. Empty cells are facial loops, and crosses are purl loops. Their combination forms a flat background ornament.

The braid consists of four strands of three loops each. As can be seen from the diagram, in the fifth row, Pr # 1 is interwoven with Pr No.2 (slope to the right), and Pr No.3 with Pr No 4 (slope to the left).

What to associate with a bulk pattern

The universality of any braids is that they decorate absolutely any product. They are traditionally placed in large numbers on various sweaters. Today there are a lot of variations on the subject of harnesses and arans. Among the hundreds and thousands of braids, a suitable scheme can be chosen for themselves and beginners, and experienced masters.

The plaits look great, being made from almost any yarn. For winter models choose a material with a high content of wool. For the demi-season, the strings with wool and cotton are suitable; for the summer, various kinds of cotton, linen and bamboo are irreplaceable.
