Knitted mocher jacket: description and schemes

Mohair is a universal yarn, from which it is possible to tie a warm winter thing, and a light, almost transparent product for spring-autumn. It is for this reason that this kind of yarn is very popular with needlewomen. Coats, bound from mohair, will always be relevant regardless of the season and fashion trends. They can be worn with comfortable jeans, classic trousers and skirts. It all depends on the chosen style for the knitted sweater.

Light sweater for every day

What should be a thing for every day? First of all it is convenient. But this is not enough to feel attractive even on weekdays. A jacket made of mohair cream color is suitable for creating an image in the style of kazhual. It can be supplemented with a lace top of dark tones under the bottom and trousers in tone. This outfit is suitable for meeting with friends and evening walks.

What is required?

To knit this sweater you need very little:

  • From 6 to 9 coils of mohair yarn (25 g - 210 m);
  • Spokes number 6;
  • Circular knitting needles No. 6 and 5 with lengths of 40 and 80 cm.

Immediately it should be noted that knitting is performed by a double thread. To determine the desired number of loops in their size, a sample is usually knit. In this case, if its size is 10 by 10 cm, then 14 loops and 20 rows should fit. Knowing this, it's easy to determine the number of loops for a set. In the rest it is obligatory as far as knitting is concerned, to apply details to oneself. For clarity, all calculations for the size M.

Knitting details

Dial 72 loops on the spokes. Next, knit with an ordinary rubber band 1x1 (alternating front and back loops) 7 rows. And the first and last row are purl loops. Continue knitting with a facial smoothie and add one loop on each side. When the back length is 6 cm, add 1 loop evenly 4 times (this is about every 5 cm). As a result, 80 loops should remain on the spokes. Next knit the backrest without decrements and additions, until its length is 23 cm. Similarly, tie in front and wait for both parts.

Now you can proceed to the sleeves. Collect 30 loops, then tie 7 rows of elastic band, like a backrest and pass the sweater. Next, the detail is knitted with the front face with the addition of one loop on each side. At a distance of 6 cm from the beginning, you should start incrementing 1 loop twice in a row. It should be done 10 times every 2 cm. When there are 58 loops on the spokes, postpone the work. The second hose is the same way.

Assembly

To get a beautiful sweater from the mohair, you need to properly collect all the details. This requires circular knitting needles No. 6. Collect all the details in this order: back, sleeve, front and back sleeve. To knit one row with face loops, and at the junction you need to link 2 loops together. This is done in order to connect the parts together. In total there should be 256 loops.

In order not to lose the place of joints, they need to be marked with a pin or thread of a different color. The connection between the back and the right sleeve is taken as the start. Then knit the canvas with facial smoothness on the circular knitting needles. On the raglan line a pattern is made on 3 loops:

  • In the 1 row make 1 cape, remove 2 loops, 1 liter. Etc., extend it through the removed loops and another 1 cape;
  • In the second row, tie all facial.

Simultaneously with tying raglan, you should reduce the number of loops in detail. To do this, remove two loops before the pattern, then tie off the front and pull it through the removed loop. After the pattern, you just need to link the 2 loops together. Thus, in each 4 row, 4 times and 2 rows each 2 times. As a result, there will be 108 loops on the spokes. This is not the end of the mohair jacket.

Spin another row, reducing the number of loops to 104. Then continue the work with an elastic band 1x1 - 5 more rows. Re-select the loops on the circular knitting needles No. 5 and tie the rubber band for another 7-8 cm. Close the hinges. At the end, sew up sleeves and side seams. This completes the mocher jacket, the description of which only seems complicated. Even an aspiring needlewoman will cope with the task.

Original open-work bolero

However, a mohair jacket does not necessarily have to resemble a sweater or pullover. This may well be an openwork bolero, which will warm a cool summer evening. Such a stylish little thing will help create an image in the style of fusion, which is liked by modern stylists. Those who are not ready for experiments, can wear it with a classic turtleneck and a pencil skirt. The image will be no worse.

What is required?

In order to do this bolero, you will need:

  • 3 coils of wool (50 g - 175 m);
  • 3 coils of mohair (25 g - 200 m);
  • Spokes number 5;
  • Circular needles number 5 (40 cm).

The density of knitting is such that 17 liters. Etc. on 22 rows is a square of 10 by 10 cm. This information is useful for calculating the desired size. In the description for convenience, the size of S / M is taken. On the diagram, you can see how many loops you need to add for other options.

In addition to the main drawing (it is shown in the diagram) two more patterns are used:

  1. Grooming: only facial loops in all rows.
  2. Pearl pattern: in the 1st row alternation of the facial and purl loops, in the 2nd row over the face plates, the back and the reverse.

How to knit?

On ordinary knitting needles, dial 109 loops. You need to take 2 threads of each kind of yarn. To knit a 3 cm pearl pattern. Then continue knitting, using schemes A1 and A2. This is done in this order: 2 edges with a pearly pattern, 17 times the drawing A1, 1 time - A2, and again 2 edges with a pearly pattern. In this way, 3 rapports should be mapped.

The next part is separated by 4 rows of garter stitch. Add in the second row 10 loops on each side, so that they end up at 129. Now you can start knitting the second pattern. To do this, 2 edges should be pierced with a pearl pattern, then according to A3 scheme for 5 loops, then draw A4 pattern 19 times, then A5 on 6 loops and 2 edges with a pearl pattern. Make only 1 repetition.

The following scheme of a jacket made of mohair with spokes is separated by 4 rows of garter stitch and 2 rows of facial smoothness. Then you need to continue on drawing A6 in this way: 2 edge pearl pattern, 2 face loops (on the reverse purl), 10 times to wiggle according to A6, 2 more facial loops (on the reverse purl) and again 2 edge pearl pattern. Knit 3 rapports.

Here we need to separate picture 2 again with rows of facial smoothness and 4 rows of garter stitch. Now only remains in the reverse order to repeat the already known drawings. Using the schemes A3, A4, A5, tie the next part in this way: 2 edges with a pearl pattern, according to Figure A3 for 5 loops, 19 times drawing A4, Figure A5 for 6 loops and 2 edges with a pearl pattern. Such rapports must be 2.

Now it remains to make the last section of 4 rows of garter stitch, where in the second row you need to remove 10 loops. Only 109 of them will remain. Then repeats are repeated according to schemes A2 and A1. That is, it is necessary to tie two edge loops with a pearl pattern, 17 times the pattern of A1, A2 on 3 loops and again 2 edges with a pearl pattern. Make 3 rapports.

In the end, it only remains to tie a 3 cm pearl viscous. Close the hinges. Then put sleeves and side seams together. On this original jacket of mohair knitting needles. It remains only to stretch it, dry it and steam it off. Surely such a beautiful open-work bolero will not hang for long in the closet: it will quickly turn up an occasion to wear it.

Instead of an epilogue

Today the store has a huge selection of models. However, the price is still handmade. The needlewomen know this very well and create small masterpieces for themselves and their loved ones. Their knitted sweaters made of mohair look modern and stylish. They know exactly what they can be worn with. Craftsmen use different patterns and colors of yarn to create unique and beautiful products.
