Autumn leaves made of paper: make origami with children

Autumn leaves are a wonderful material for creating interesting crafts. But sometimes they themselves can become handicrafts, if they create them with their own hands. We offer you several master classes to create origami. Autumn leaves of paper can be done both by themselves and together with children.

What do you need to create a craft?

The first thing you need is paper. It can be either white or colored. If you decide to make the leaves of white papyrus, then it will need to be painted with pencils, felt-tip pens or paints.

Color preference:

• red;
• Orange;
• yellow;
• brown;
• green.

And to make leaves more original it becomes possible, if to use a special paper with an ornament (or packing). The main thing that its shade was from the autumn palette, with notes of red and yellow. Ornament can be chosen any: geometric (striped, diamond, cell, and so on), abstract or even with a picture of leaves).

Also need scissors and glue. In some cases it is more convenient to use glue-pencil. An alternative to glue may be a double-sided adhesive tape.

Paper Leaf: Form No. 1

Instructions for creating paper autumn leaves of the first basic form (for example, as in birch):

1. Take a sheet of A4 paper.
2. Fold it in half.
3. We draw a line with a pencil from one corner to the opposite.
4. We cut along the line.
5. Leave the part that decomposes (picture 1).
6. Fold the resulting triangle with an accordion, as in picture 1.
7. From the remains of paper, we make a stalk (picture 2).
8. We glue the leaf and twig (picture 3).

Paper Leaves: Form No. 2

Instructions on how to make autumn leaves of paper resembling maple leaves in the origami technique (second main form):

1. Take a sheet of A4 size and fold it in half.
2. We draw a line with a pencil from one corner to the opposite.
3. We draw a zigzag-like line, like a Christmas tree, over a straight line.
4. Cut out the outlined contour (picture 1).
5. Fold the resulting sheet of paper accordion.
6. We make a stalk (picture 2).
7. We glue the parts together (picture 2).

Autumn leaf of the second form is ready!

This method can do any leaves. To modify them, you just need to change the contours (edges), after which you will then cut the hand-made article.

Wreath from paper autumn leaves

To make the autumn leaves of paper for such a wonderful wreath on the door, you need ten sheets of colored paper 8 x 8 centimeters in size per sheet. You can use smaller or larger sheets, the main thing is to make it a square.

Instructions for creating a wreath of autumn paper leaves:

1. Take one sheet of paper.
2. Fold it in half to make a triangle.
3. Expand the sheet and place it one of the corners up.
4. Fold the left and right corner of the diamond to the center line of the fold, as in picture 1.
5. New left and right corner of the figure again wrap to the center, as in picture 1.
6. Make three pieces of such details, as in paragraph 4.
7. Make six pieces of such parts, as in paragraph 5.
8. Take one detail from point 4 and two from point 5.
9. Fold the three pieces as shown in the picture 2.
10. Grease the upper part with glue and glue the bottom two to it.
11. Do the same for two more details.
12. Glue together all three of the composite, as shown in the picture 3. It is necessary to impose each component part on the other. As a result, you will get a ready-made leaf.
13. Now you can make a twig. We glue the paper to the back side of the finished sheet so that one corner (a diamond) is looking out.
14. Cut the glued sheet of paper on both sides and fold it, as shown in the picture below.
15. One autumn sheet of paper is completely ready. Make a few more leaves and put them into the shape of a wreath.

Magic autumn leaves of colored paper

To make this such a miracle-leaf, in addition you will need to take a set of pin-pins, tweezers and a board.

Instructions on how to make magical autumn leaves of paper:

1. Take an ordinary sheet of paper and draw on it a maple leaf with several veins (picture 2).
2. We put a sheet with a picture on the board (picture 3).
3. We cut a bunch of colored strips to a thickness of a centimeter and a length of about 10-15 centimeters (picture 5).
4. We insert pins on the contours of the drawn sheet into its sharp corners.
5. Each strip of the same color is folded in half and cling to the pin (pictures 6-9).
6. Lubricate the adhesive contour, each strip.
7. We take a strip of another color, twist it and put it into one of the contour cells (picture 10).
8. Fill in this way all the cells of the frame.
9. We make a stalk (picture 11).

You can give the leaf a special color - a transition from one shade to another. To do this, we dilute the paint in red, orange and yellow, each in a separate container. We take a sponge. We moisten it in red and soak the finished sheet from the top. Then dunk the sponge in orange and attach the color to the middle. At the end of the yellow paint, paint the bottom of the leaf.

A simple wreath of paper autumn leaves

The easiest way to make autumn leaves from paper together with children is to use a special shaped stapler (sold in large office or specialized shops). If this is not the case, and you do not want to buy, then you can resort to the old method: fold five pieces of paper (or take one and fold several times), draw a contour of a sheet (for example, aspen) and cut it.

With the help of such blanks, you can make original wreaths.

To get such wreaths, as in the picture, you need:

1. Make many multi-colored paper leaves (at least fifty pieces).
2. Cut out a cardboard or other dense material of a circle of any size.
3. Stick the billets of the leaves to the circle, starting from the outside, and not from the middle. For this you can use both glue and double-sided adhesive tape. In the second case, tape should be pasted around the circle, not the leaves.
4. Stick on the back of the circle of strings, for which you can then hang a ready-made wreath.
5. Decorate, for example, with a bow.
