Trees from beads. We create beauty with our own hands

Once upon a time, women decorated their outfits with braids - wide woven of small precious stones and pearls with ornaments that were worn on the sleeves and around the neck like a collar. Later the gems began to be replaced with small glass beads, but the technique of connecting them to wide patterned ribbons remained the same. Flat beaded weaving was used to decorate clothes, the same type of ties, necklaces and bracelets were sewed. Thin multicolor weave of bead threads, creating surprisingly beautiful ornaments, with impregnations of larger stones and pearls, with beaded fringe and pendants decorated not only the costumes of the nobility, this technique was widely used by many peoples for the coloring of national costumes.

The beauty of glass, its overflow and gloss, fragility and transparency have always attracted artists to create various interesting things. Multicolored glass beads, so similar to small precious stones, were used to create three-dimensional objects that decorate the interior. For wire we use a wire frame, which keeps the shape well, while remaining plastic. Bunches of flowers, art panels, lampshades, as well as bead trees are created from a multicolored bead strung on a wire.

The tree was always endowed with a deep symbolic meaning. It is considered a symbol of life and longevity, wealth and a happy family life. In the Druid calendar, each month of the year corresponds to a certain tree - a patron and protector. Trees from beads can be weaved in different ways. Very beautiful compositions with trees imitating the Japanese bonsai are obtained. They will become a wonderful decoration of the interior, as well as a gift with a deep mythological and symbolic meaning. Colorful beaded trees can be weaved by themselves. It is enough to master several techniques, then to master the weaving of various kinds of trees. Let's try, with the example of one of them, to master this simple technique.

Trees from beads. Willow

Weeping willow is a touching tender tree, very decorative, with delicate long branches stretching to the ground. To depict it from beads, you need to take about 100 grams of green and 50 grams of light green beads. You can replace the green color with a silvery gray. Still need a hank of thin wire, a little thick wire for the trunk, a floral tape and a sponge, an ornamental pot and pebbles.

Any tree consists of twigs of various lengths and thickness and trunk. Willow branches are thin and long with elongated small leaves. Let's make the first twig. To do this, we take a thin wire, cut off a long enough end and string 7 beads onto it. Wire bend in half, the beads are located in the center of the fold. We make a loop, three or four times twisting the wire. Now on one of the ends again we string 7 beads and twist the loop. So gradually we collect a branch of willow, placing the leaves symmetrically on both sides. For greater realism at the end of the twig, we make leaves from a lighter bead, moving towards the center, we mix light and dark beads, and at the base of the branchlets we make leaves only from dark beads. You can make a part of the twigs entirely from the dark beads, and part - from the light.

Thus, about 80 branches of different length should be made, with different number of leaflets. Approximately one-third of long, medium and short. The more twigs, the larger the tree. Do not forget to leave loose wire on the end of the branches, long enough to attach them to the base of the tree.

Now we connect the twigs together. We take several long, medium and short twigs and fasten them to a thick steel wire. The base of the wire is masked with the help of a floral tape, tightly winding it in a spiral. We put the finished twigs together. We keep the necessary proportions.

From the thick wire around the branches form the trunk. It must be thickened at the base, slightly broken, inclined. Wire first wrapped with a smooth tape or cloth, and then masked with floral tape.

The finished tree is strengthened in a pot with the help of a floral sponge and sprinkled with pebbles. Then twigs distribute, straighten, give them the desired shape. A gentle and touching tree is ready.

Trees from beads differ bright decorative, unusual. Bright bunches of beads, like small precious stones, shine and shimmer in the light. By acquiring certain skills, you can make a large tree, it will become a powerful decorative interior center, inevitably attracting attention.
