Rolled soft roofing

4. Then the carpet is spread. This element always has the same color as the roofing soft shingle itself. Fix it over the waterproofing strip on the nails in steps of 10 cm.
5. Installation of a soft roof is continued by installation of a cornice tape. It is made of the same material as the carpet. Mount it on the nails over the cornice with an indentation from the edge of two centimeters. Preliminary, the protective film is removed from the back side.

The welded roof is also supplied in rolls. Its difference from roofing felt is that bituminous mastic has already been applied to the underside of the strips. 1. The casing is uniformly primed with a layer of bitumen, diluted with gasoline.

So they cover the whole roof. As with any other soft roofing material, the protection will only be effective when pasting several layers. Types of sprayed roofing material

As a waterproofing coating in this case, a mixture that solidifies in air and forms a strong protective film of different thickness is usually used. Only three of its varieties are available:

1. One-component. It is sprayed on the surface with high-pressure equipment.
2. Two-component. During the application, the polymer-bitumen composition and the hardener are mixed. Pressurized to the sprayer and applied by a layer of the required thickness.
3. Bitumen-polymer composition. It is applied to the surface with a spatula or roller. In private housing construction, this variety is most often used, since it does not require the use of expensive equipment.

How to apply a bitumen-polymer composition to the roof
