Insomnia? The reasons are numerous

Insomnia is one of the most common diseases, the causes of which can be diverse. But to understand the reasons, you first need to understand what is insomnia. Unfortunately, there is no generally accepted definition. However, as a rule, insomnia is understood as sleep disorders. Disturbance of sleep, difficulty in maintaining deep sleep, as well as early awakening - all this is insomnia. The reasons for each of the types of insomnia are their own, but scientists identify and some common. First of all, insomnia is caused by mental or psychological disorders. It's no secret that stressful situations, for example at work, can cause sleep disturbances. Conflicts in the family, insecurity in their abilities - all this can also cause insomnia. But in addition to these factors, the physiological state of a person plays an important role. If a person has even minor pains - this can lead to sleep disturbances. The third group of factors that cause insomnia, include violations associated with the preparation for sleep. Fall asleep in a poorly ventilated room, on a full stomach, and even after reading a fascinating novel is almost impossible.

As you can see, insomnia causes different. Therefore, the treatment can vary greatly, depending on these reasons. If the cause is stress, then the treatment, of course, provides for the elimination of this psychological illness. Perhaps, it is insomnia, caused by psychological reasons, to treat the most difficult. Physiological disorders are much easier to adjust. And even easier to put in order the very procedure of going to bed. It's enough just to follow simple rules to bring sleep back to normal. Such rules include the following.

You can have supper no earlier than three or four hours before bedtime. At the same time, it is necessary to fall asleep no later than twenty-three hours, trying to stay in bed at the same time. Before going to bed it is recommended to drink warm milk or water. You can also make an easy walk.

Sick old insomnia is also quite common. In this type of insomnia, the causes are similar to those described above. Older people react more sharply to the irritating factors, allow themselves to sleep during the day, which is strongly discouraged. In this case, the elderly person exacerbates various diseases, which can lead to persistent sleep disorders. Older insomnia is treated as well as other types of insomnia.

Another type of insomnia may be insomnia on a full moon. Despite the fact that very many people claim that they have insomnia on a full moon, modern science does not confirm the existence of such dependence. It is believed that people who have not slept well in the full moon, just on a subconscious level, develop a fear in themselves, which prevents them from sleeping in the future. Numerous studies conducted by scientists from different countries have confirmed that a full moon can affect the physiological processes in the body, but there is no threat to sleep. In any case, adherence to the simple rules described above can significantly improve the quality of sleep.

According to available statistics, every fifth person is suffering from insomnia. The reasons for it may be different, but in any case it is treatable. In many respects the success of treatment depends on the person himself. It is not necessary to take a variety of sleeping pills to achieve a sound sleep. You can try to protect yourself from irritating factors, which will make it much easier to go to sleep. For example, one should try not to worry about whether it will be possible to fall asleep. Only a relaxed organism can rest during sleep.
