How to make screenshots of pictures on your computer - some simple tips

Every day, working on a computer at home or in the office, users periodically encounter the need to make a printscreen of a window or a whole screen in order, for example, to report an error in the IT system software, to show the colleague how exactly this or that operation is being carried out, or to share with the developers Program problems in its use.

On how to make screenshots A separate window or screen, most experienced users are well aware. But for a person who is not very familiar with the computer, this task can be very difficult. In the end, it turns out that an IT employee spends a lot of time explaining how to make screenshots, and how to send them later.

A screenshot of the computer screen can be done in several ways (depending on the operating system installed). If we are talking about the Windows operating system, then the simplest version of how to do screenshots - Install a special program, for example, PicPick (or its analog), running which, you can simply "cut" any part of the screen with a special tool (like scissors in graphics programs).

But a user who does not know how to make screenshots is unlikely to be able to download and install any program (if it has not been installed on a computer before). So, having a Windows operating system and intending to make a screen print screen , you need to try to look for a special application. If it is not found, you can use a more complicated method (but it certainly will end with success without any additional programs) - using a special button on the keyboard.

This button, as a rule, is on the auxiliary keyboard (it can be duplicated on a digital one). On laptops and small keyboards it is located at the top right, and it is written on it "Printskrin" Latin (abbreviated or fully). It should be clicked on by opening a window on the screen, the screenshot of which is required (or by ensuring that an error message appears that needs to be fixed). After clicking, the screenshot will be captured in the computer's memory (like a photo). And it will only be inserted into any file created in the graphics program (for example, it can be Paint).

The saved file can be sent to the recipient by e-mail or otherwise. The screenshot should be saved by selecting " JPEG " in the file types so that its size does not turn out to be very large.

If the screenshot is required in Linux, everything is much simpler. Using the same button "Printskrin" on the keyboard, you can get a screenshot immediately in the form of a saved file. Such files are stored in the Images folder, which is located in the Home folder (Home folder) on the desktop of the computer. The computer saves the pictures, assigning them the names "Screen shot from ...." indicating the date when it was made and the extension type " PNG ". You can send them to the addressee in this form, but you can save them in a more familiar " JPEG " using any graphics program. In other operating systems, there are a few other screen capture algorithms, but they are all based on putting it in a graphic file. There is nothing complicated in this process, knowing the method of performing an operation in one system, the user without any problems navigates to any other.
