How to evoke the devil: a spell and description of rituals of different cultures

Many people brought up in the Christian culture, from childhood, are familiar with such a character of religious doctrine and near-church folklore as Satan. Otherwise it is called the devil, which in Greek means "slanderer", that is, the accuser of people in the judgment of God. In modern post-Christian culture, marked by the revival of magic and witchcraft, there is increasing talk about how to evoke the devil of one's own volition.

At the same time, rituals from a variety of cultures are gaining popularity, the description of which is devoted to this article. But first you need to understand that culture is formed around the cult. Therefore, before proceeding to the disclosure of the ceremony itself, it is necessary to first clarify the role of this character in the culture-forming religion.

Views on Satan in Christianity

According to the traditional Catholic (and Orthodox) doctrine, the devil is a fallen angel. Once he was a bright angel and even held the position of the right hand of God, but, being proud, he rebelled against the Creator and was deposed from heaven. Being devoid of angelic dignity, he carried away a third of the angels who were in his submission, who then turned into demons and demons of Christian theology. All this conglomerate fallen from the sky under the devil's head formed the realm of darkness and evil. Their main activity is hunting for the souls of people whom they hate as bearers of the divine image and likeness, therefore they try to destroy them, destroying them in the fire of the underworld. Approximately this describes the world of the devil and fallen spirits in the ancient, medieval, and often in the modern Christian community.

The reverse side of the coin is that the image of the devil for centuries concentrated in himself all the qualities, attributes considered bad and sinful. Therefore, over time, this figure has become a powerful symbol of this-sided freedom and permissiveness (especially sexual). And since the so-called low and sinful qualities of man are just as natural as his good, virtuous virtues, the devil has always attracted interest, and at times sympathy for individuals and whole communities.

The devil was interested in writers, poets, theologians, mystics, and, of course, he could not ignore all kinds of sorcerers and sorcerers. The forbidden, mysterious, mysterious, disgusting and at the same time attractive depraved image of Satan so strongly influenced the culture of Europe, that his sculptures are decorated even by Christian churches. And it is not surprising that medieval treatises on magic are simply abounding with benefits, explaining how to cause the devil.

But Satan is known not only in Christianity. It is the collective symbol of all Abrahamic religions, whose family, besides the various followers of Jesus Christ, includes Judaism and Islam.

The Devil in Islam

The fallen angel and opponent of God is described in the Qur'an in general in the same way as the Christian tradition draws it-a high-ranking genie who was ousted from the skies for disobedience and pride, who, for revenge, vowed to harm all life and people in the first place. In his submission are all the evil genii, who are also called Shaytans.

In the process of the development of Islamic culture, of course, there were groups of people and individual thinkers who rendered certain honor to Iblis. This was most clearly manifested in Sufism and on the periphery of Islam - in the religion of the Yezidis. But on the whole, devil-worship was not so strongly developed in Muslim countries, as in Europe. Therefore, the manuals on how to cause the devil, is almost unknown. This does not mean that they do not exist at all. Just the severity of punishment for such misconduct, if they are exposed, makes the rebels of the rebellious spirit keep their rituals in secret.

The Devil in Judaism

As for the religion of the Jewish people, in it Satan is a much more modest figure than in the extreme Christian or moderate Muslim folklore. For the Jews, the devil is primarily an angel who does not have his own will and fulfills the role of the accuser of mankind charged with him. Its task is to provide people with a choice between good and evil. He is not at all a principle and personification of universal evil, and therefore very little attention is paid to his person.

However, the kabalistic constructions have developed the demonology of Judaism to an unintelligibly complex system associated with the process of divine emanations - the Sefirot. In the language of Kabbalah, the demonic forces are called the Klipot, but from the personified devil in question, they differ quite strongly, so there is no point in disassembling them in detail. The only thing that can be noted is that the kabbalistic doctrines, reinterpreted by Christian sorcerers, gave a motley set of demonological systems, the reverse side of which was the compilation of many practical recommendations already, how to cause the devil.

But it's still a substratum of Christian culture, even if enriched by Jewish mysticism. In particular, Jewish Judaism does not exist, since the nature and role of the devil in Jewish theology are insignificant. Hence it becomes clear why only Christian orthodoxy was able through the exaltation of the devil to create its own antipode - a full-fledged Satanic cult, that is, Christianity is vice versa. Now it's time to talk about the ways that lead to a meeting with the fallen spirit.

Ceremony of calling the devil in Western European culture

In view of the above, it is not surprising that the most popular and famous rituals of the call of Satan come from Western Europe. It was on this earth that the cult of the Dark Lord was first fully formed. Therefore, the main attention will be paid to it.

"Call the devil, dirty sinner," or Two words about the black mass

According to European ideas, the simplest and at the same time the most common way to associate with Satan is to commit a sin. And the greater it is, the greater the effect. What are the worst scams in Christianity? First, this denial is from God and from Christ, accompanied by blasphemy and prayer to the prince of darkness. Secondly, this is a sacrifice to Satan (better bloody). Thirdly, illegal perverted sexual intercourse. All these three components in the sum gave rise to a specific satanic ritual called the black mass. These parodies are known for the Christian liturgy at least since the XI century. The devil on call in visible form will not appear, of course, during such a ceremony, but the spiritual sharing of this archetype of evil and vice will be felt quite vividly. Of course, we insistently warn against the temptation to embody such rites in practice. At least from the bloody victim, it's better to abstain.

Inquisition, witches and Satan

The theme of the witches was very popular during the Renaissance in Europe. Today, interest in it is also high, but from a different angle. How much earlier witches were afraid and persecuted, just as today they are admired and admired. But if in our time witches' practices are more associated with paganism, then in former times they were closely associated with Satanism. Documents of inquisitorial processes clearly testify to this. The witch, according to them, is a woman who knew how to cause the devil to bargain. In exchange for her soul and her vow to harm all life, she received certain magical powers and power over the elements of nature.

The Infernal Treaty

In order for the deal between the witch and the devil to take place, she had to be sealed with a special written contract, prescribed on the virgin parchment. The contract was sealed with signatures, which were supposedly taken out by blood. As a reminder, the devil also left his mark on the witch's body. According to the belief, she looked like a small birthmark, which was insensitive to pain. Also, she was given a familiar - a devil who, on the one hand, had to help the witch, and on the other - to watch how she fulfills the terms of the contract. Outwardly, the familiar usually had the form of an animal. It could be a dog, a rat, a snake or a cat. The devil witches also on the Sabbath, but this is a separate case.

The Sabbat of Witches and the Worship of Satan

Sometimes witches gathered for their witch holiday - the Sabbath. He envisioned magic, feasting, dancing and orgies. The central ritual of this action was a black mass, the purpose of which was to cause the devil. The spell was not used for this, since the witches summoned the master of the underworld as their master, and therefore not by order, but by prayer. The spells were used by the adepts of ceremonial magic, who not so much worshiped Satan as they tried to find a partner in him. As the Inquisitors believed, the devil was at such festivities in the visible form of a black goat and accepted the worship of his daughters in the form of a kiss under the tail, where ... the second person.

Ceremonial magic, or How to evoke the devil by force

Unlike witches, a practical magician did not ask Satan to appear. He tried to get him to do it. For this, on a special day and hour, he retired in a secret place and drew a circle on the boundaries of which he wrote defensive formulas. After all the ceremony, he, while reading special slander, tried to summon the devil. The real spell, strengthened by the names of God, was to make him come, and special magical ceremonies - to take a visible appearance. Further, the magician demanded from Satan (or the demon replacing him) what he wanted to receive, threatening in the event of rejection by the punishment of the Almighty. When the desired was received, the demon had to let go of the world with the world, again with special spells. And only afterwards the wizard could safely go abroad the magic circle. A lot is known about detailed manuals on how to evoke the devil. The most popular of them is "The Key of Solomon." Also known are the grimoires of Pope Honorius and the so-called Goetia.

Practical guidance

I want to believe that no one will come to mind to call home Satan. Even if nothing happens, the psychological archetype of evil is still actualized in the subconscious, which is fraught with psychological problems. Therefore, just to satisfy curiosity, you can give an example of a spell that will help to solve the question of how to cause the devil, in Latin.

So, first you need to retire. It is important that during the ceremony no one interferes - no phone call, no family member, no domestic cat. Only the one who really needs it, who realizes the whole responsibility of this action, as well as the fact that the dark forces are not altruistic and for any service will demand more than a high fee - the immortal soul (of one's own or the closest and beloved people).

So, the spell itself (read in the circle by heart):

"Satan, oro te, appare te rosto! Veni, Satano! Ter oro te! Veni, Satano! Oro te pro arte! Veni, Satano! A te spero! Veni, Satano! Opera praestro, ater oro! Veni, Satano! Satan, oro te, appare te rosto! Veni, Satano! Amen. "

Appeals of the devil in American culture

American culture, which represents the heir of European culture, abundantly flavored by the traditions of the Jews, Native American Indians and various emigrants from the East, among other things, produced the first legal Satanic religious associations. Their ceremonial is in many respects similar to the European in the collection of symbols, but it is much more syncretic. For example, often in the ceremony of calling the devil, the latter is associated with the Egyptian god Seth. Due to this, traditional Egyptian symbols-ankhkh, sphinx, stellas with hieroglyphic inscriptions, etc., acquire special significance in the ritual.

On the other hand, the challenges of the devil are arranged on traditional European pagan holidays - Halloween and Walpurgis Night. Rite, as a rule, includes group sex, a magic ceremony of calling and sometimes even a sacrifice. The whole action is conducted mainly at night on the nature or in abandoned churches. Unlike the European tradition, the challenge of the devil in America is rarely accomplished alone. Collective challenges are most often the case.

Slavic culture and the challenges of the devil

The fact that in the territories of the Slavs the cult of Satan has spread widely, one can not speak. But still, from the time of the baptism of Rus, the pagan opposition in places took the form of conscious or unconscious devil-worship. Often a rebel angel in Russian cities and towns was associated with Chernobog, a pagan dark Slavic deity. And they called him, respectively, Slavic rites, namely: during the ritual meal, a bowl of wine was tossed around in a circle, pronouncing certain spells to summon the devil - Chernobog.

With the overcoming of the duality, when Christianity began to reign supreme in the cultural space of Russia, Chernobog was forgotten, and if necessary, the devil was called to the following rite: it was necessary to go to a cooled sauna at night. There, take off your own cross and put it under your left heel. Then, with a special conspiracy, the defender denied Christ, the Mother of God and all the saints, and delegated himself to Satan, who was to appear after such an act either in reality or in a dream. Sometimes the devil was left with a sacrifice in the form of food and wine.
