How to draw chickens? Step-by-step instruction for children and their parents

Little cute cute little yellow lumps - chickens! Who did not see them, well, at least in the photo or drawing? After all, our modern urban life does not always allow the young artist to draw from nature. But at least we can at least imagine how they look.

How to draw a chicken for a small artist?

It is quite easy to do this if we apply the laws of geometry. Wait, guys, do not be afraid of this word. The thing is that the chicken's body consists of completely symmetrical geometric figures, you only need to observe the necessary proportions. So, let's get started!

Option one

We draw a sweet couple of wonderful chicks that have just hatched from eggs. For creative work we will need: a sheet of A4 paper, pencils of various softness, an eraser. If you want then paint the picture - paint or colored pencils.

  • Step 1 . How to draw chickens? First, we draw oval trunks (two) and round heads (two). They seem to be pressed against each other. One chicken is slightly larger than the other. Arrange the composition in the center of your sheet, do not enlarge the picture much, make it proportional. For example, the head of a chicken should not be larger than its torso.
  • Step 2 . Now we draw the details. Bikini, eyes-dots, paws-sights, small tails.
  • Step 3 . How to draw chickens? Next - shade the shadows, remove the extra lines, direct the desired ones. We remember that, unlike an adult chicken, a chicken does not have feathers, but an original fluff grows throughout the body. Draw it as well.
  • Step 4 . Our chickens clung to each other. The drawing is ready! Now you can paint it. Carefully select colors. Body - yellow. The clavicle is red. Paws and eyes are black.

Option Two

There is another way how to draw a chicken in stages, more schematic, suitable for very small painters. This chick seems to hatch from the egg in front of your baby, thus causing delight and joy! But here and parents will have to remember the skills acquired in a distant childhood, when you were just beginning to learn how to draw. So, we proceed to the implementation of the second option, where the main role is allotted to parents, not the child.

  • Step 1 . We represent on the piece of paper an incomplete oval. This is the basis of the split egg.
  • Step 2 . Above the oval we draw a broken line. Above the line draw a small circle - the head of a chicken.
  • Step 3 . Gradually draw a beak, eyes, wings.
  • Step 4 . We put everything in order: remove the extra lines, if they turned out, we guide the contours, denote the grass on which the egg stands.

Advice

Attention! In order for your kid to take part in the process, and become interested in how to draw chicks, give him the opportunity to paint a drawing that you painted . How is this best done? Dip the child's finger into the yellow paint (special finger) and ask the baby to tackle the chicken's body. The child's hands must then be wiped with a damp cloth or washed!

A picture of the chickens painted by your baby, it is desirable to save for the show to relatives and friends. Successful to you and, most importantly, a creative evening!
