First of all, we select a video file, which we need to edit. Hold it with the left mouse button and move it to the corresponding program window. In the menu, select the item "Open in the crop window". After that, we look in the appeared window. The selection area is indicated by yellow triangles. Control here is done by moving the cursor to the desired position. After you have selected the section that you need, use the arrow buttons at the bottom of the window to cut it out and move it to the timeline.

Suppose you want to voice a specific fragment of the film with music or your own voice. Move the sound file to the same window as the video, and proceed. First of all, select the video segment that we need to voice. Then click the right mouse button on the audio track. In the menu, select the item "Switches", and in it the option "Mute the sound". Now the sound track in this area will be cleared. Now transfer the sound file with the mouse on the timeline. If it is necessary to reproduce it incompletely, carefully trim it.
