How should fire safety in school be respected?

If we compare all the reasons for the fire anywhere, it turns out that in most cases this situation is the result of negligence. In general, all the fault is the human factor and non-compliance with fire safety rules. If a person or organization does not adhere to the norms of behavior, this always becomes the cause of the disaster.

As for children's institutions, it is very important to observe fire safety at a high level here. As a rule, in gardens and schools there is a large number of children at the same time who are not always able to react correctly in a critical situation. Therefore, fire safety in the school must be observed at the proper level. After all, a large number of children can suffer at the same time.

As a rule, the most common violations are:

  1. Failures in the operation of electrical appliances (non-compliance with the norms of their operation).
  2. Complete absence of fire alarm.
  3. Absence of automatic warning and guidance of evacuation during a fire.
  4. Violations in equipping evacuation routes.
  5. Lack of sufficient water supply (as a rule, this violation is typical for all types of schools).
  6. Mismatch of the amount of primary means for extinguishing the fire with the list that is regimented in the rules of fire safety.

As we see, fire safety in the school is often not fully implemented, because there are a number of standard violations that are very rarely eliminated before the occurrence of the force majeure situation.

Remember that every teacher and employee has instructions for fire safety in the school. Each cabinet, because it contains various kinds of inventory, has its own safety standards and evacuation system. Schoolchildren regularly attend specialized classes, where special attention is paid to the consideration of this issue.

It is very dangerous that if the fire occurred in a room where teachers and students are, this quickly leads to the development of dangerous fire factors (rapid temperature rise and high fogging). This situation arises from the presence of an open flame.

Fire safety in the school implies certain rules of conduct, which concern both teachers and children.

In the event of such a situation, teachers should take the following actions:

  1. First of all, as soon as the combustion process is detected, it is necessary to notify the fire protection system very quickly, calling to number 01.
  2. It should promptly organize the collection and immediate evacuation of children.
  3. As soon as the evacuation begins, you should simultaneously notify all other employees who are in other premises about what happened.
  4. Senior officials must determine the place of gathering of students. Also, they must ensure the organization of the construction and roll-call.
  5. It is necessary to receive promptly all the information from the rest of the teachers regarding the results of the roll call.
  6. All results of the inspection should be reported to the fire extinguishing process leader.
  7. If someone is missing, you should report this and determine its alleged location.

As for students, fire safety in school provides for such actions:

  1. It is necessary to collect all personal things (if it's winter in the street, then you must dress appropriately).
  2. Do not panic and stay organized. This should be done under the guidance of the teacher. Children are built in pairs and follow each other.
  3. Senior students should notify other persons about the occurrence of a fire, and also provide assistance during the evacuation process.
  4. If someone is absent from classmates, students should inform the teacher about this and indicate a possible reason.

Without the permission of the teachers, one should not leave the gathering place and take any action.
