How much to cook rice

Water is poured at the rate of 1 part of rice and 2-3 parts of water. The groats are poured into boiling water, which you must first salt. As soon as the water boils again, the fire is reduced and continue to cook rice, periodically stirring gently so as not to break the grain.

Depending on what kind of result you want to get, depends how much you need to cook rice. If you want to get a delicate friable product, then the cooking time of white rice will be about a quarter of an hour. If you cook sushi and rice should be more sticky, then after the cooking time it should be left in hot water for another half an hour.

How much to cook rice so that all the grains are evenly prepared? The main thing here is not so much cooking time, as the dishes in which it is prepared. It is better to cook it in a flat dish: a frying pan or a wide saucepan is always under the lid. In this case, the rice is evenly warmed and cooked.

As soon as the water in the saucepan boils again, the fire is reduced and cooked for about 5 minutes without the lid. After cooking, noodles are usually discarded in a colander and washed under running water. As soon as water drains, noodles are poured with a small amount of vegetable oil, so that it does not stick together.

From rice, you can cook a variety of dishes that will be very useful. This requires some experience, but everything is not as difficult as it might seem at first glance.
