How does war affect a person and the country as a whole?

From the moment when a person picked up an ordinary stick, he understood one simple truth: aggression towards one's neighbor is the easiest way to achieve the desired political result. At all times, war was one of the main human crafts. Entire nations and nations were destroyed, so that others could obtain the desired blessings. Thus, war is a natural desire of man to dominate over his own kind.

Why do we need military aggression?

Through war, you can get absolute supremacy - this fact is the key to a reasonable person. Also, war can be regarded as a necessary element of the life of a person. For example, the war for resources will be necessary for the people, who have virtually no deposits of minerals. From an economic point of view, war can be described as a profitable investment, which in the future will bring not only profit, but also certain non-material benefits: power, primacy, influence, etc.

Structure of the influence of war

In the theory of state and law, there is a peculiar theory of the origin of the state system. It says that the state as such has emerged as a result of violence, that is, through numerous conquests, humanity has departed from the first communal system. All the above facts allow us to see the actual content of the war as a factor. However, going into theoretical thinking about the war, many people forget to consider it as a process that has a certain influence and consequences. Proceeding from this, influence and consequences can be considered in three basic levels, namely: how war affects a person, a society, a state. Each factor should be considered in strict sequence, since each structural element is associated with the subsequent, more important.

The impact of war on man

The life of any person is saturated with a huge number of factors that negatively affect his welfare, but there is no such negative factor as war. This factor affects the person with the force of the atomic bomb. First of all, the impact is on mental health. In this case, we do not consider trained soldiers, since from the first days of their training they develop all sorts of practical skills that later help them survive.

First of all, war is a huge stress for the average person, regardless of his social or financial situation. Military aggression implies the invasion of the forces of another power in the territory of the native country of man. Stress will be present under any circumstances, even if fighting is not being conducted in the city of his stay. In this case, a person's condition is comparable to the emotional state of a cat that was simply thrown into the water. It is this method that most colorfully describes how war affects a person.

But stress is the primary effect. Behind him usually follows the insurmountable fear of death or loss of something or someone close. In this state all mental processes and vital activity of a person become dull. After some time, and it is different for each person, almost everyone gets used to the idea of the inevitability of their situation. Fear and stress recede into the background, and a feeling of depression comes. This effect is especially evident in places of occupation.

The impact of war on children

In the process of considering the topic, the question of how the war affects children is involuntarily raised. To date, psychological studies conducted with children who grew up or were born during the war, showed the following facts. Depending on the remoteness of the theater of operations, from the place where the child lives, the memories are quite different. The smaller the child, the less noticeable will be the influence of war. Also, a strong factor is the remote location of the residential unit from the combat zone. When a child lives in a place where terror, fear and destruction reign, his nervous system will suffer very much in the future. It is impossible to say unequivocally how the war affects children. Everything will depend on the concrete fact of life. In the case of children it is impossible to find a regularity, because the child is not a socially and financially formed person.

The influence of war on society

So, we learned how war affects a person. The arguments are given above. But a person can not be viewed from the standpoint of one individual, because he lives in the environment of other people. How does the war affect the country and the population of this country?

As a geopolitical phenomenon, it has an extremely negative effect. Being in constant panic and fear, the society of a separate country begins to degrade. This is especially evident in the first years of the war. It should be remembered that the society is a certain number of people who live in the same territory and are connected with each other by social, economic and cultural relations. In the first years of the war, all these relations are completely broken. The society as such does not exist at all. There is a nation, but each individual loses his social connection. In the following years, all the above-mentioned links can be restored, for example, in the form of guerrilla warfare. However, in this case the task of such social ties is formed based on the task, and it is quite simple - to exclude enemy forces on its territory. Also in the first years of the war, there will be an upsurge of antisocial elements. Cases of marauding, banditry and other crimes among the population will increase.

How does the war affect the state

From the standpoint of international law, the declaration of war entails the breaking of diplomatic and consular relations. During military operations, states do not use the norms of international law, but norms of international humanitarian law. We should not forget about the reaction of the international community to the outbreak of war. Militant countries are allotted, and they can be helped only by international intergovernmental organizations, such as the UN, the OSCE and others. Of course, ordinary countries can also help, but in this case it will be regarded as the acceptance of one of the militant parties. In addition to purely legal consequences, military actions inflict enormous damage to the population of the country, which is reduced due to increased mortality.

We must also consider how war affects the economy of the country. When the state conducts full-front military operations taking into account the mobilization of the entire array of armed forces, the country's economy involuntarily begins to work on the process of war as a whole. Very often, businesses that previously were engaged in the manufacture of any civilian things or equipment, change their qualifications and begin to manufacture the necessary military items. Also, a huge amount of money is spent on war. Even taking into account the final positive result - victory - one can not say that war is a positive factor for the economy.

Thus, the situation with the answer to the question of how the war affects the country is quite ambiguous. The state and its economy are inextricably linked, but the consequences from the influence of military operations are completely different.

Conclusion

The article examined how the war affects a person, the society and the state. Given all the arguments given, it is safe to say that any influence of the war will be extremely negative.
