Causes of machine failure
The transmission of commercial vehicles GAZ-3302 is distinguished by its endurance and high reliability. But, unfortunately, some drivers decide to test the reliability of their gearbox, thereby squeezing out of it all the juices. This action causes the spare part to malfunction, so it is not recommended to test the power of the transmission, since it is this part that transmits the torque to the wheels.
What happens if the attitude to this part is negligent?
The GAZelle transmission does not like bullying, so if you do not want to face problems such as self-exclusion of the gearbox, a difficult transition from a reduced speed to an elevated one and vice versa, it's better not to test its strength. Noise in the box
Quite often after sharp jerks of speeds the transmission of GAZel is damaged (but not completely), and in the cabin there is a constant noise and squealing. This indicates that this part needs to be diagnosed and repaired. Most often, extraneous sounds arise from heavily worn gears, shafts and bearings. But even if you operate the car in normal conditions and without jerks, the GAZel transmission can squeal because of the insufficient volume of engine and transmission oil. If this is not the case, the main problem is frequent overload. How is this interconnected? It's very simple - with excessively high load the machine withstands strong pressure on the frame, rear axle, engine, and also on the synchronizer gearbox. Well, if the overload is combined with a dashing manner of driving, such a transmission will not last for a long time.
Many drivers-GAZelists are asking this question. But there are no secrets here: all that is needed for long and trouble-free operation of gears and shafts is timely diagnosis and troubleshooting, the use of high-quality oil in the gearbox, as well as compliance with the manufacturer's recommended truck load (no more than 1.5 tons per Three-meter chassis and not more than 1.1 tons per four-meter modifications). Also, you need to change the clutch in time and not tear the gear. Follow these rules and then replacing the gearbox with a new one will definitely not be useful.
