Ferro-concrete trays: purpose and features

Ferro-concrete trays are used, as a rule, in the construction of roads, heating mains, in housing construction and for the needs of water disposal. They ensure watertightness, durability and safety of communications, high level of frost resistance. Such trays are resistant to mechanical influences and allow unobstructed maintenance of the system during repair or modernization. The reinforced concrete has high anticorrosion properties, which is due to the use of heavy concrete with a framework of steel reinforcement classes A-1, A-3, Bp-I. This ensures a low level of failure rate of such structures.

Conditions for the operation of which ferroconcrete trays are intended, and the functions that they must perform, require various modifications (types) of these products.

Types of trays and application features

Trays are divided into several types, which differ in size, shape, principle of drainage and the way of laying. Main types:

- Trays for heating mains, channels, tunnels (protection from cold, water, ground pressure., Closed, laid down in the ground);

- telescopic trays (for drainage of water in the construction of roads, bridges, they are laid with a slope according to the principle of tile);

- Feeding trays (for collecting water along sidewalks, motorways, parking lots);

- drainage trays (for drainage of ground and storm water from railway tracks, runways and for construction of hydraulic structures);

- cable trays (for protection against damage to the cable or wires).

Trays ferro-concrete: GOST, conditions of operation

Trays are manufactured using vibrocompression technology of rectangular or parabolic shape. The production is subject to stringent requirements of GOSTs. Projects usually lay trays of typical series, for which there are working drawings and recommendations for use.

In accordance with the standards of the Russian Federation, reinforced concrete trays GOST 13015-2003 are manufactured. Concrete for trays must meet the requirements of GOST for frost resistance and water resistance, resistance to corrosive environments, thickness of the protective layer, corrosion resistance (separate requirements for fittings) and certain standards of components.

To prevent clogging of the trays, they are closed with plates.

To ensure the resistance to rainfall and strength, ferro-concrete trays are made of concrete of classes B15, B20 and B25.

The outer walls of the trays, which are buried in the ground, are waterproofed with the bituminous material in a two-layer method.

If it is planned to operate ferro-concrete trays in aggressive soils, their walls are covered with special protective compounds.

Dimensions and marking of trays

Each kind of tray has a certain marking, written in alphabetic and numerical values.

For example, LC 300.180.90-3. First comes a letter indicating the type of product (LC-channel channels) or size (L-4), the digits indicate the length, width and height, and the vertical load index (tf / m 2 ) is recorded through a dash. Further, alphabetic designations can also follow ("d" - additional, "a" - with mortgages).

Manufacture of reinforced concrete trays, dimensions Which are selected depending on their purpose, category and species. They differ in weight, length, width and height, they are open and closed. The price depends on the size and the number of trays required.

Plates that are used for bottoming are marked PT, and for overlap - PD.
