Father of Zeus - Crown

Greek mythology is a very complicated and interesting science. Unfortunately, not every person who knows its main points is familiar with the beginning of the deity's beginnings.

Like many other nations, the Greeks speak of the original chaos that reigned in the universe. After that, the future progenitors of all divine characters appear - the first titans, Uranus and Gaia. By ruling over the living world, they constantly produce offspring. Uranus is a very passionate husband, but he obviously does not have enough fodder, his first sons - hecatoncheyers and cyclops - fall into disgrace: fearing the power of their children, he sends them to Tartarus. Of course, the mother - Gaia - is upset, but because of her next offspring, Crohn, she is preparing to overthrow her father and deprive him of the possibility of having descendants by way of defilement.

The future father of Zeus in all obeys his parent and succeeds. But his mother suddenly predicts that he will fall from the hand of his own son.

Now the myths tell about the next divine couple - Krone and Rhea. Having gone fertile into his father, the unfortunate is possessed by fear, and therefore devours his own children. But it is this that causes the disaster - a yearning for her descendants, Ray rescues one of the sons, feeding her beloved husband instead of her usual cobblestone.

The young god was born in one of the caves of Crete, where, according to his mother, Cron would not have sought him. According to the legend, she tolerated torment in silence, thrusting her fingers into the ground, and the entrance was guarding the kuritas at that time. Leaving her son in the care of these amazing creatures, Ray went back to her husband. Over time, the Cave of Zeus became known and popular among people. Today any tourist who has got to Greece, can visit it.

The unsuspecting father of Zeus lives, as before, while one of his children accumulates strength and hatred to get even with the murderer of his brothers and sisters.

And now the hour has come. Growing up and strengthened Zeus water his father with his special potion, forcing him to erupt swallowed earlier children (who, incidentally, managed to grow up right in his womb). Of course, the saved gods and goddesses are grateful to the Savior, and that's why they go to war with him against the tyrant, who was the father of Zeus, the Crony Child Killer.

However, the war was much more complicated and longer than everyone expected. Titans turned out to be extremely strong and cunning opponents. But, after all, the young gods were still able to prevail, and Zeus's father was sent to Tartarus as his own son.

Well, Zeus himself stayed with his brothers and sisters on Olympus - a high mountain, leaving the summit to the sky. Wise and childish, cunning and merciful, beautiful and quick-tempered, they began their own lives, and God Zeus - the great Thunderer - became the eldest among them.

What is most interesting, the Greeks themselves, despite the seemingly equal attitude to all stages of their mythological history, the golden age is considered the period when everyone ruled Crown and Rhea. According to the legends, people were themselves much like gods - they did not know about grief and loss, time was not so powerful over them, there was no need to work, the souls of all living had purity, and the mind - with extraordinary clarity and piercing.
