The main advantage of such an engine is that it is multi-fuel. The power is 780 horsepower. Depending on the configuration it is possible to install three variants of power plants:

  • With YaMZ.
  • With the motor Cummins.

Such a variety of powertrains can cause some difficulties in servicing. One of them are spare parts. DT-30 "Vityaz" provides for the use of German engines, repair nodes at best have to wait a few months. This, perhaps, is one of the main disadvantages of a car with a foreign power plant.

Transmission and running equipment

The running equipment consists of contours with installed caterpillar belts. In addition, they installed steel cross-members. On the main rollers is an independent suspension. The working element is torsion with a special porous filler. This allows the vehicle to move more smoothly without damaging the fastening elements.

The price for DT-30 "Vityaz" varies from 6 to 8 million rubles, depending on the equipment and equipment installed from the plant. Nevertheless, the car is worth its money. Impression

Despite the impressive technical characteristics, operators complain about them. Often you can see a statement that the transmission often breaks down, and the engines are very whimsical, although they are declared as multi-fuel. The weakest point is the coupling device, at large angles of rotation the knot wears out pretty quickly.
