Does prayer help the husband drunk?

A certain sociologist once called Russia the most drinking country in the world. This is not quite true. In America and the "good old" England drink just as much, and in the Czech Republic there is generally a whole beer district where "drinking holidays" happen almost every day. Simply Russia, unlike the countries of the European world, does not hesitate of the illness.

Drunkenness in the family is a tragedy

In big cities, in megacities, life is very different from that of rural and rural people. The village is a real microcosm with its own laws, and sometimes, when you come there, you are involuntarily surprised that time seems to have frozen there a few decades ago.

Alas, the rural family way of life is not always just a house-building. More and more often the tired, frightened women come up to the village father and whisper, looking around cautiously, they ask: "Is there any prayer for the husband's drunkenness?"

Now, unfortunately, drunkenness in the family, and, not only the head of the family, but also his wife, is not a rarity. But although it is believed that people do not drink from a good life, it's terrible to imagine what would happen if the whole village was taken out in a week's binge. But it is unlikely that a neighbor lives better - it's just, probably, the fact is that he understands the art of living better ...

"Drinks means ..."

And yet, does prayer help the husband's drunkenness ? ..

The fact that many of our women are spiritually much stronger than men has long been proven. And men, as if obeying this change in roles, are slowly surrendering positions, turning into savvy residents. And it's good, if only this happens ... "He beats - then he loves," some girls say. And if he drinks and drinks?

But in this case, you will not complain about the female part, and the prayer from the husband's drunkenness becomes more and more urgent.

Whom to pray to?

The holy righteous John of Kronstadt never suffered from this ailment, but the prayer for her husband's drunkenness, addressed to this saint, is, as many women claim, literally and figuratively shedding grief, the most powerful. Is it so? Quite possible. St. John of Kronstadt, whom some in his lifetime was considered a new messiah and created ionistic sects, was a strong prayer book and the greatest ascetic. So the one who believes that he helped the prayer of John of Kronstadt from drunkenness is not far from the truth. And there's an icon called "The Inexhaustible Chalice," which, according to some, works wonders.

Drunkenness, as well as drug addiction - is primarily a mental illness. The unfortunate patient (and you can not call a healthy person who does not have the strength to get rid of the fatal passion for the green snake, does not turn his tongue) can not, simply does not find the strength to pray for his soul. In this case, only his relatives can help him. And it is not so important to whom prayers are raised-whether to God himself, to the guardian angel or the drunkard to John of Kronstadt, practice shows that the strongest prayer for drunkenness is sincere. It happens that help does not come immediately. Well ... in that case, it is appropriate to recall the wise words of one of the saints who said that the Lord gives as many trials as a person can bear.
