When the question arises about how to make a cake at home, we begin, first of all, to grab the cookbook. From there we learn the basic information that the cake is a sweet and delicious dessert from several cakes, which are saturated with filling, and on top are decorated with edible elements. Everything is simple and understandable.

But we want our recipe of cakes at home to be not only edible, but became a hand-made creation of culinary art. The most popular always used chocolate cakes. Let's try to cook this dessert together.

The recipe of cakes at home. Chocolate cake with cognac

To prepare this sweet dish we will need:

  • 125g of dark chocolate
  • 150g butter
  • 80g of powdered sugar
  • 2 pcs. Eggs
  • 2 tablespoons Cognac
  • 200ml of creamy cream
  • 2 pcs. Biscuit cakes
  • Cocoa powder

I want to make a reservation right away that our recipe for cakes at home presupposes ready-made cakes purchased at the store. You can bake them yourself, but if the guests at the doorstep and time are not enough, then ready-made biscuits are an ideal option.

Cooking method:

In the prepared ceramic dishes, chop the pieces of chocolate and add four tablespoons of water. We heat the chocolate in the microwave until it melts, then leave to cool slightly.

With the help of a mixer, whip the butter, gradually adding the powdered sugar. In the mixture, add eggs, cognac and already chilled chocolate. In a baking dish, pre-lubricated with butter, lay on the bottom of the cake and grease it with chocolate cream. Then lay the next cake and also lubricate it with cream, until you have laid all the cakes.

With whipped cream, decorate the last (upper) biscuit, sprinkle lightly with cocoa powder and put in a cold place for several hours. Your cake is ready!

I want to note that the design of cakes at home depends entirely on your imagination. You can use nuts, biscuits, fruits (even canned) and much more.

Another recipe for cakes at home, which is incredibly easy to prepare.

Chocolate-lemon cake

To prepare it we will need:

125 g of dark chocolate

125 g of sugar

A peel of one large lemon

1 tbsp. Wheat flour

5 pieces. Eggs

75 g of butter

1 tsp. Baking powder for dough

2 tablespoons Breadcrumbs

ground coffee

Almond flakes

We beat eggs into the deep dishes, adding sugar and lemon zest. Shake until foamy.

We add flour (better sifted), baking powder and butter, pre-melted. Gently mix the dough in one direction.

In the prepared oiled and biscuit-covered baking dish, pour the dough and set it in a preheated oven (200 degrees). Bake for thirty minutes.

After the finished base has cooled slightly, cut it into three equal parts and lubricate each melted chocolate, stacking one on top of the other. On top decorate the cake with almond chips, ground coffee and coffee beans.

For this recipe, you can prepare the cream described above.

For processing cakes you can use food colors that will give your product a bright and beautiful look:

  • Yellow color can be obtained with the help of saffron, which is ground and diluted with warm water or vodka, and after a day filter.
  • Orange color will give carrots or orange peel juice.
  • Red shades can be obtained from the juice of berries, jam and various syrups.

  • Green color is taken from spinach, which we pass through the meat grinder and squeeze the juice.
  • Blue and violet can be obtained from blueberry juice, red cabbage (fresh or boiled), blackberry juice, grape and frozen eggplant peel.

Food colors can be mixed together, getting more beautiful and delicate shades of cream, which you decorate your culinary dessert.
