David Nutter is a famous American director and producer. He is engaged mainly in that he shoots pilot episodes for new television series. Now the name and photos of David Nutter are increasingly flickering in the press due to the fact that he takes part in the creation of the series "The Game of Thrones." For the work on this series, David was awarded the prime time prize Emmy.

Biography

Nutter was born in 1960. He studied at a secondary school in the city of Dunedin in Florida. He graduated in 1978. After school, David studied at the University of Miami, where he studied music. In the film industry, Nutter has been working since 1985. Prior to 1993, his work did not have much success with the public. But then the director undertook to shoot the television series "X-Files". He released the first three seasons. Together with the "X-Files", success came to Nutter.

In his own project, David helped other filmmakers shoot new serials: "Smallville's Secrets", "Jack and Bobby", "Mentalist", "Supernatural" and others. The director likes shooting the pilot episodes of the series most of all. His task - with the first cadres, from the first episode to chase the audience to the TV screens and give the series a start for several seasons. Such work seems to him very attractive and interesting. In 2008, LG invited Nutter to develop an advertising demonstration clip for their high-definition Scarlet TVs.

The TV series "The X-Files"

The American Fantastic TV series "The X-Files" was coined by producer and screenwriter Chris Carter. The show began in September 1993 on Fox. Nutter was engaged in directing the first three seasons of the picture, which for today has withstood 10 seasons and more than 200 episodes. In October 2016 it was announced that the series would be extended for the eleventh season. This work quickly became a hit on the Fox channel. Quotations from the series were massively quoted in the culture of the 90's, and the "X-Files" themselves became a symbol of the 90s.

The main characters of the series Dana Scully and Fox Mulder investigate all sorts of mysterious events. Some of them remain inexplicable. Fox believes in supernatural forces, in aliens. Dana, by contrast, is distinguished by a rationalistic approach to things. She tries to find a logical explanation for everything.

The main roles in the film were performed by the actors Gillian Anderson and David Duchovny. The television series turned out to be so popular that several more feature films were shot on its basis. He was awarded several Emmy awards (annually since 1993), Golden Globe and Saturn (since 1995) and many other awards.

The TV series "The Game of Thrones"

The series in the genre of fantasy "The Game of Thrones" was first shown on the TV channel HBO in April 2011. The plot is based on a series of novels by American writer George R. R. Martin. The creators of the series are David Bennioff and Daniel Weiss.

David Nutter shot only some episodes for this film, however his work was awarded the Emmy Award in the category "Best Director" for the series "The Game of Thrones". At the moment, there are 6 seasons of the series (about 60 episodes), the shooting is still ongoing.
