Biography

Daniil Trifonov, whose biography begins in March 1991, was born in Russia, in the city of Nizhny Novgorod. The boy was born in a musical family, and this, perhaps, predetermined his fate. Great-grandmother and Great-grandfather Daniel sang and, in addition, were engaged in the assembly of accordions. Grandmother led the choir. Mom - teacher of music theory, father - composer. In his youth, Oleg Trifonov was even fond of punk rock, but at a mature age he switched to another, more serious music.

The future master of piano playing began to learn music at the age of five. Absolute hearing - this is what Daniel Trifonov received from nature. The boy's parents understood this when the child began to show interest in his father's synthesizer. Mom and Dad offered the young musician an alternative - a piano. Daniel liked it.

Later, Trifonov's family moved to Moscow, and at the age of nine Daniel went to music school. The boy was very lucky - he got to study for a talented teacher - Tatyana Zelikman, who brought up a lot of gifted musicians - Konstantin Lifshits, Alexei Volodin, Alexander Kobrin.

First successes

In parallel to the musical literacy in "Gnesinka" Daniil Trifonov three years (from 2006 to 2009) was engaged with Vladimir Dovgan. This has developed in the boy already existing abilities to create works of his own composition, which he continues to do to this day. He became a laureate of the International Chopin Pianists Competition in Warsaw, receiving a bronze medal and a mark for the best performance of the mazurka. By the way, this competition, according to the musician, most of all tempered his character, because exactly there the performers and jury members of the highest level were concentrated.

World Recognition

In 2011, Daniel Trifonov won two international music competitions. In May, the pianist was named laureate of the International Piano Competition Arthur Rubinstein. At the contest, Daniel received gold, a spectator prize and a mark for the best performance of Chopin's works and chamber music.

In June of the same year, Trifonov became a laureate of the Tchaikovsky International Competition, receiving gold, a spectator prize and a prize for the brilliant performance of a concert with a chamber orchestra.

Today Daniil Trifonov is a pianist who collaborates with the stars of the first magnitude. On one stage with him conductors: Mikhail Pletnev, Krzysztof Penderecki, Vladimir Fedoseev. The musician was opened with the best concert halls in the world - Parisian Pleyel, Carnegie Hall in New York, London's Wigmore Hall.

Trifonov performs with the largest world orchestras - the London Symphony Orchestra and the Mariinsky Theater Orchestra conducted by Valery Gergiev. He gives concerts with the Israeli Philharmonic Orchestra under the direction of Zubin Meta, interacts with the Warsaw Philharmonic Orchestra conducted by Anthony Vita.

In particular, due to the heavy workload and participation in various tour programs, it is not possible to devote enough time to learning new material.
