In Tatarstan there is an amazing children's railway. Kazan, in which she is, opened it for the purpose of training qualified personnel. There is a railway since August 2007. It is located on the territory of the Lesbark zone "Lebyazhye".

The history of the road opening

The proposal to build a children's railway in Kazan came from the company "RZD" in early 2004. The project was planned to coincide with the 1000th anniversary of the capital of Tatarstan. Prior to 2005, a place was chosen. There were two options: in the Gorky Park or at the Lebyazhye Lake.

In March 2005, the preparation of project documentation began. The deadline for putting the facility into operation was set for 2006. Then the date changed for 2007. It was planned to produce five passenger trains and three diesel locomotives, one of which was supposed to be a battery electric locomotive.

In the autumn of 2006, preparatory work began for the laying of the railway tracks. The children's railway (Kazan) was planned in Yudino and then in his career. But the locals resisted such a route, so the deadline for the final commissioning of the facility was somewhat delayed.

As a result, the children's railway of Kazan (address: Altynova Street, 4 "A") was opened only on August 30, 2007. The event was held in a solemn atmosphere. The opening ceremony was attended by the President of Tatarstan, the Minister of Transport of the Russian Federation and other officials.

The goals and objectives of the opening of the Children's Railway

The Children's Railway (Kazan) is built for pre-professional training of future qualified workers. The purpose of creating an object is to create the necessary conditions for adolescents to self-determination. Thanks to the involvement in the railway business, students develop communicative, creative and organizational skills. This is facilitated by the joint activities of adolescents.

As a result, they have an interest in the future profession. Students receive not only theoretical knowledge in many specialties, but also their consolidation in practice. Simultaneously, there is the upbringing in the adolescents of collectivism, accuracy, responsibility and conscientiousness.

Description of the road

For the ChR, four kilometers of tracks were laid and two terminals (Molodezhnaya (or Yashlek) and Izumrudnaya) and intermediate (Sport and Birch Grove) stations were built. On the main (one of the closing) was a two-storeyed station with a three-storied depot and a training building. The dimensions of the object allowed the storage of the entire rolling stock. The workshop was equipped with a 4-point lift and a crane-beam.

In a three-story building, a dormitory was set up for railway students who came to practice from other cities in the summer. A buffet and a canteen for workers were opened at the station. Near the station square there is a large parking lot.

The Children's Railway (Kazan) has terminal stations, one of which is named Izumrudnaya. It is built only one-story building, which is the cash register. At intermediate stops the train is not provided for. Only blue plastic awnings are installed. All the structures of the ChRD have an intricate architecture with blue and mirror glass and ceramic wall cladding.

The route begins from the village of Zalesnoy and ends with the Yudinsky quarry beach. The path of the train lies in a picturesque pine green zone. The narrow-gauge railway line is equipped with turnouts, modern equipment and two crossings. During the train, traffic lights, safety devices, communications and alarms are used. Also there are systems of automatic blocking and centralization.

Station on the station. Youth is designed for 25 people. In the building there is a ticket office, a small cafe and a post of electrocentralization. It manages the railway. The train is called "Rainbow". It moves at a speed of 20 kilometers per hour. The total capacity of passenger cars is 157 people.

Training

The Children's Railway (Kazan) has an administrative-educational building. It is equipped with classes for studying railway specialties:

• Movers;
• Path.

And also in the educational building they prepare specialists of farms:

• Passenger;
• Signaling;
• Blocking and centralization;
• Connection.

In the educational building for students and teachers is equipped with a dining room for 36 people and a gym. In the hostel - double rooms, which have all the necessary facilities for students living, coming to study and practice from other cities.

The school year is from October to March. The theory is taught only once a week. In June, practice begins. The training is free and lasts three years. For out-of-town students there are special circumstances. The set of training groups is conducted from schoolchildren of 4-7 classes of secondary schools and gymnasiums of Kazan and other cities of Tatarstan. After training, graduates receive certificates of completion of a three-year profile course.
