Children's dance: features and specificity

Children's dance has its own specifics and features. Everyone will agree that the most important thing in it is not an immaculately mastered technique, but a creative approach and the child's interest.

The first and most important thing in learning plastic - whether it's a children's dance boogie-woogie or any other - is to catch and hold children's curiosity. And if you are interested in the child, you can easily (after all, kids are always striving for something new), then with a focus on learning, problems can arise, since at that age everything quickly gets boring. But curiosity is a key component of any children's activity. You can achieve the desired effect by constantly changing either direction or approach. For example, there will be interesting studios, where comprehensive training is conducted for different styles. Then the child will be able to learn alternately the children's belly dance, then jazz-modern, then club and sports directions. This helps not only to interest him with something new and unusual, but also to reveal inclinations to a certain direction. After all, if a child loves Oriental melodies, it will be much more pleasant for him to transfer to a group where they only deal with this.

Children's dance also presupposes a special method of teaching. Everyone knows that kids are best at learning something, if this is presented in a playful form. Therefore, in the classes you can arrange competitions, include in the dance some funny movements. You can also offer the child something to think out and organize, because it stimulates its development.

Another important aspect, without which there can not be a children's dance, is the division into age groups. Indeed, at a young age, even a difference of a couple of years can become very clearly visible. Therefore, it is worth collecting small teams of peers. This not only promotes the best relations in the team, but also simplifies the work of the teacher, who must find an approach for everyone. With this separation, it becomes much easier to distribute loads and look for the right material.

Never forget that children's dance is, first of all, pleasure.

Do not force the child to do something that is not interesting for him. And do not critically treat his failures. Remember that any children's activity is also development, becoming and self-determination, so you need to let it be what you want, and support it in every possible way. Tell him the positive and strengths to increase his self-esteem, and emphasize the direction in which you need to work on yourself.

If you consider all the above requirements, you can turn a child's dance into a pleasant pastime for the child. If you achieve that he will love his occupation, then you will see him happy and satisfied every day. Do not worry if at first something does not work out. But do not make the child do something that is alien to him. Do not limit his imagination and let him dance the way he feels - and then he will remember with gratitude the first choreography lessons.
