Chelyabinsk: sights and interesting places of the city

One of the largest cities in Russia, numbering more than a million people, is Chelyabinsk. We will look at the sights of this locality a bit later. First you need to say a few words about his story. On the site of the modern city was once located the Bashkir village with a similar name Chelyab. The city received this status in 1787. For a long time, very few people knew about it, because it was quiet and peaceful. This continued until the gold-bearing vein was found in these areas. After the end of the Great Patriotic War, the city was renamed Tankograd. Its original name was returned to the city after the collapse of the USSR.
