Catching a pike on a bait - is there anything more exciting in the world?

If an angler is interested in fishing for pike, he must acquire a spinning rod with a reel that allows casting 20 meters or more. The fisherman should be wound on a coil of 70-100 m of the main line, to fix on it a large float of cork or foam and 1-4 sliding lead "olives" - weights, weighing about 7-10 grams. By tying the swivel to the fishing line and fixing the single hook complete the preparation of the tackle.

Catching the pike is a fascinating business! However, it is worth remembering that when preparing tackles, it will be superfluous to take care of the metal leash, since the pike often bites the fishing line, no matter how thick and solid it was.

It should also be noted that hooks for fishing should be chosen with long forearm and sting, and the sting should bend in the direction of the forelock. It is good to catch a pike on a bait if the fisherman uses hooks-twins or hooks-tees. In these cases, the number of "blind" hooks during wiring increases many times.

Directly fishing for pike on bait is as follows. The fisherman should stop in a boat near the top edge of the pit - about five or fifteen meters away. The distance is determined by the depth at which the edge is located, the depth difference in the landfill and how cloudy the water is. If the water is transparent and the dump is flat, then the boat should be installed as far as possible. A shallow depth at the edge indicates that the boat needs to be set far away.

It is lucky to catch pike on bait if you choose a fishing site for the merger of two rivers. The most catchy place may be an island off the coast, next to which there are drops of depth.

After the preparation is completed and the place is chosen, the process begins directly - fishing for pike. The first thing to do is to plant a fish on the hook - the live bait. If it is a sticker or a small roach, which have a weak upper lip, then the bait should be inserted in this way: pierce the lower lip with a hook, and sting it outward through the nostril. True, this method of attachment, being the most reliable, contributes to the rather rapid death of the live bait.

You can use another way, by pushing the live bait on the hook over the upper lip. In this case, the resident will stay mobile longer, but there is a possibility that especially quick-fry fish can break and swim away, cutting off their lips.

Before fishing, the fisherman must perform a couple of control casts to determine the accuracy of the dump and the optimum number of "olives" on the line. It is necessary to adjust the tackle in such a way that during the posting the fisherman can clearly fix the touch of the bottom of the reservoir.

It is also advisable to calculate the minimum weight of the load in an experimental way, in order to avoid unnecessary injury to the live bait and give him the necessary freedom during the wiring - the lover should "walk" and not hang limp on the line. And after the predator grabs the animal, the tackle should not be strongly resisted.

If during the wiring with the already planted live bait the fisherman has a feeling that the hook has caught on something, or if a sharp jerk suddenly occurs, then he should immediately stop pulling the tackle. Most often this means that the predator has committed a bite, but there may be a fact of interference in the form of driftwood or stone. In any case, you should take a moment to pause.

Although sometimes the pike bites in the form of a "hook", this type of bite is extremely rare for it. This is often the way the zander works.

If an angler suspects that the pike is making a bite, he should loosen the line, feeding the rod forward, and remove the coil from the brake. The pike usually clamps the live bird with its teeth and leaves 1.5-2 meters, rarely more than 5 meters, then, stopping in place, unfolds the livebird forward with its head and swallows it. After that she tries to swim further.

An angler should be given a pike to swim 3-5 meters and only after that to hack. It is not recommended to do this before that the predator does not notice the resistance of the line. After the cutting is followed by the process of vyvazhivaniya. This is done in order to tire out a strong, fast and clever fish, which is a pike.

It is necessary to be especially attentive at this time! You can not give the pike the opportunity to go under the boat or wind a line under the rope, which goes to the load. Therefore, the dig should be started at a distance of about 10 meters from the boat.

Well, the fish is caught and planted on the cuckoo! It remains only to cut off the leash, release it from the hook and prepare a bucket for a real soup: with pepper, dill, onion and, of course, with a haze. Bon Appetit!
