Balance form

Accounting reporting is a single system of indicators, compiled on the basis of the results of economic activity, characterizing the financial and property status of the enterprise. It is based on data recorded in fixed forms. These documents are put into effect in accordance with the orders of the Ministry of Finance of Russia.

The new form of the balance sheet, as well as the annexes to it, contains the main indicators obtained on the basis of the results of the reporting period. These documents were approved by the Order of the Ministry of Finance of the Russian Federation No. 66n, which was signed on 02.07.2010. The coming into force of the normative act under consideration is envisaged, beginning with the results of the work for 2011. This document has undergone editorial changes. Order of the Ministry of Finance of the Russian Federation on 05.10.2011 №124n, some adjustments have been made to it. Thus, in particular, minor changes in the name of certain lines have undergone. The 2012 balance sheet has new indicator codes. Also, it contains additional lines.

The form of the balance, approved by Order No. 66n, has a large number of graphs in comparison with the previous document. The new column "Explanations" should indicate the serial numbers of the comments that are given to the annual indicators.

The form of the balance also included graphs into which the data for the previous year, as well as the previous one, are indicated for comparison. New lines are added to the new document. They are available both in the asset and in the passive. But the decoding of some balance sheet items was removed.

One of the new lines of the accounting report, which contains information on the results of research and development, reflects data on certain types of R & D. In addition, capital investments in installation and erection, which are incomplete, are not taken into account as fixed assets. Data on them should be reflected in such an article as "Other non-current assets".
The balance sheet of 2012, like previous documents, contains indicators of long-term as well as short-term financial investments. However, the names of the corresponding lines do not specify their period. Reflection of accounts receivable in the accounting accounting document is currently made by one sum. An explanation of its composition in the form of a long-term and a short-term part should now be made in an explanatory note, which is attached to the document.

The form of the balance sheet, approved by the Order of the Ministry of Finance of the Russian Federation, has a slightly different structure of the asset compared to the previous document. From it, the lines that decrypted various groups of stocks, as well as receivables, were removed. Order No. 66n gives the right to organizations to independently determine the details of the articles of the report.

Changed the changes and liabilities. In the approved form there are no lines explaining the composition of reserve capital and accounts payable. So, for example, the amount of income payments to founders or participants should be disclosed in an explanation to the balance sheet. Additional capital, the amount of which is reflected in the passive part, is indicated without a revaluation amount. Its sums are enclosed in a separate line.

The fourth section of the accounting report should reflect information about reserves created under contingent liabilities. In the previous form, these amounts were included in the indicator of the magnitude of future expenses.

The names of lines reflecting the authorized capital and borrowed funds began to sound somewhat differently. In addition, information on the values that are recorded in the accounts, called off-balance sheet, is disclosed in the explanatory notes to the financial statements.

Making quarterly and annual forms, it is necessary to take into account all changes introduced by Order No. 66n. Moreover, the indicators for the two previous periods, the values of which should be disclosed in the balance sheet, should be grouped in accordance with the new requirements.
