Autumn of St. Petersburg

Autumn, autumn ...

Autumn has sadly come to Petersburg,

Yellow leaves scattered on the ground,

Birds of the caravans sent to the south,

The faces of the houses are covered in gray haze.

Gloomy, unhappy people's eyes

The dark waters of the Neva flee.

As if from a fairy tale came the villain

In the image of the gloomy over the Winter wanders.

But suddenly in the cloud suddenly

Rainbow light will flash and warm

City, avenues, the roads of the distant circle ...

And the soul immediately becomes lighter.

Autumn sadly entered St. Petersburg,

Opened the way for frost and blizzard,

And then the spring is renewed ...

Everything has its time, everything has its turn.

Autumn

Unhappy autumn has come to the city

Yellow leaves are around. It's pity!

Through flying birds

Petersburg's face is as gray as a mouse.

Grown-ups, children look strange and unfriendly

Waters of river run quickly

Over Zimny is ghost from tale

He is impatient, unkind, very pale.

Look, please! Neath cloud the sunl

It smiles, says "Do not worry. All right "

Rainbow colors warm our souls

Squares, long streets, areas near roads.

Unhappy autumn has come to the city

Flowers turn to the litter. It's pitty!

Places for snow and frost are just made

All's in time ", people said.

Dream

Handsome, fluffy, smart

I fell down and covered my nakedness

Brings warmth and comfort,

Romantics give a dream.

The dream of an unrealized miracle

A barren desert is a mirage,

Like a fairy tale that will ...

(Minute, I prick the pencil)

What am I talking about? Oh yes, about hope,

About faith in a happy life,

Trees in rich clothes,

Clogs covered dust.

Under the storm of emotional unrest

I could not stand the black graphite,

And strange natural unrest,

(From the windows, forgive me, it shows)

The frost grows strong,

And the wind sings angrily

So where are you, a dream, late?

I wait, only time does not wait!
